I'm glad you're having fun but I don't have a use for your app. There's a lot going on at once. It's not totally useless but way less exciting than other recent technology breakthroughs. New programmers in the field are losing their experience to become dependent on proprietary technology that is stealing an unknown amount of content and that can be adjusted at the whims of a few big AI corporations.

How come the apps I already was using where I know AI is involved have gotten worse? I supported Harris strongly during her campaign. I have only been critical of her since she lost the election. The way she lost was even disappointing - disappearing for many days and conceding immediately despite many admissions and evidence of fraudulent behavior by the Republican party starting when Donald lost in 2020. The parties actions since then have been even more frustrating seemingly doubling down on their losing strategies and keeping obviously corrupt leadership.

I voted, donated, and made phone calls for her but let's not forget during her only debate she repeatedly brought up her support of fracking, she refused to take a more humane approach to Gaza than Biden, she made war mongering statements, and she campaigned with the Cheney war criminals. I was very optimistic about her when she was anointed but she ran the worst Democratic presidential campaign in a very long time. The way she disenfranchised the Democratic base was obscene.

This weekend in #Chicago I had a game night with neighborhood friends. I celebrated a local Mexican American family and their new mural with my alderwoman and our neighbors. I rode the amazing CTA catching a glimpse of dozens of closed street celebrations on my way to my favorite Korean restaurant and a lifelong friend's block party. We failed reconstruction and we have consistently failed to hold Confederate descendents accountable. They have slowly gained power through propaganda. At this point we are living in a modern Confederacy rather than the United States won by the Union in the civil war. The orange felon's plans to deploy troops from Confederate States against Chicago and DC is the final kicker of how bad we've lost. I wish we were making more progress quicker but I hope we're experiencing gasping breaths of the dying fossil fuel industry. Don't give up advocating where you live.
