There's a small improvement now. The app no longer goes to a blank screen after a few seconds, but I still can't get past the error page. It keeps saying, "Something went wrong," and when I tap Go Home, it just takes me back to the same screen.

For now, I had to open my BCHNostr account directly in the browser so I could at least reply to posts and stay active.

I also found out that I'm not the only one experiencing the blank screen issue. @myat, @daisysiete, @chakadoll, and @scarletdoll have encountered it as well. Hopefully, this information helps identify the cause so the issue can be resolved for everyone. I can't make a reply, I can't post @BCHreplyguy

Sometimes, a single click can quietly change the direction of your journey.

One ordinary day, while scrolling through a Bitcoin Cash community, I noticed a signup link shared by a member from Pakistan. It didn't seem like a life changing moment.. just another opportunity to explore. Out of curiosity, I clicked it. As far as I can remember, I was one of the first three people to create an account, alongside Linoasis (npub1t4u…84f8) and ScarletDoll (npub14n2…xfuu) . We were all newcomers, exploring unfamiliar territory together. After exploring the platform ourselves, we started encouraging more people to join.

Since I had already joined different Bitcoin Cash communities before, creating another account didn't feel intimidating. However, BCHNostr introduced something new to me.. the NSEC key. At first, I wondered why I had to save it, but I trusted the instructions because I knew that recovery keys and backups are extremely important in the crypto world. I immediately stored my NSEC in a safe place, knowing that losing it could mean losing access to my account.

Setting up my BCH wallet was easy because I already had experience using Bitcoin Cash wallets. I simply connected everything and was ready to start receiving and sending BCH. For newcomers who have never used a BCH wallet before, my advice is to take your time, double-check every step, and always keep your wallet backup secure.

Back then, the platform looked very different from what it is today. I even remember when we had to upload our profile pictures through Imgur. There were only a handful of users, and one of the things we loved most was how simple and lightweight BCHNostr was. Posting was free, the interface was easy to use.

What I never expected was that BCHNostr would become a platform where I would invite so many new users. My notifications eventually became flooded with friend requests, questions, and messages from beginners asking for help. It reminded me that not long ago, I was also a newcomer asking the same kinds of questions.

Guiding new users wasn't always easy. Some questions were repeated over and over, while others required patience to explain. But helping someone create their first account, secure their keys, set up their wallet, and publish their first post was always worth it. Watching someone gain confidence after overcoming their first challenge is one of the most rewarding parts of being in this community.

If I could give one piece of advice to every newcomer, it would be this: As long as the people helping you haven't given up on you, don't give up on yourself either. Every platform feels confusing at first. Every experienced user was once a beginner. Don't be afraid to ask questions, make mistakes, and explore. Learning takes time, and every challenge teaches you something valuable.

BCHNostr has given me more than just a place to post. It has allowed me to meet people from different countries, help others, and become part of a growing Bitcoin Cash community. Looking back, clicking that shared signup link was one of the best decisions I made. What started as curiosity became an opportunity to learn, contribute, and help others begin their own BCH journey.

To everyone creating a BCHNostr account today: save your keys, secure your wallet, stay curious, and never stop learning. One day, you might find yourself guiding the next generation of newcomers.. just as others once guided you.

I came across this photo in my phone gallery, and it made me miss those days when I was slowly preparing everything before giving birth. I loved collecting all of my baby's essentials, organizing them, and getting everything ready. My friends even surprised me with a rocking chair and a crib, while my siblings gifted diapers, wipes, and baby wash.

If you asked me if I wanted to go back, I'd say I'd gladly relive the memories.. but not the difficult part of pregnancy. Being on bed rest, not being allowed to get tired, and spending most of the day just resting? Haha... I'll pass on that part.

I finally got around to trying the Tip Manager tool. At first, I wasn't sure where it would be most useful, but after testing it, I realized it's actually great for people who host community activities, games, or events with multiple participants. It makes sending tips much more organized, and I like that it has a leaderboard too. For now, I probably won't be using it much since I usually reward one person at a time whenever I come across someone who's active and making good contributions but hasn't received many big tips yet. That's just how I normally reward people in community spotlight. But I can definitely see myself using it in the future if I host an activity or event with a lot of participants. Great work!

BCHNostr Tipping Fund Transparency Update – Final Update

I have transferred the last remaining funds from the BCHNostr Tipping Fund to my BCHNostr wallet to distribute the final round of tips to different community members.

Although the BCH price increased between my previous update and the time I made the transfer, the remaining balance was still the same 0.06439 BCH. Because of the price increase, its value was $15.26 instead of the previously estimated $14.92.

Current remaining balance: 0 BCH ($0.00)

The photos attached below show the different users who received the final round of tips.

Distribution details:

* Different users received $0.50 each (around 200,000+ sats in BCH).
* The remaining funds were used to reward active members of the BCHNostr community.
* A small portion covered the minimal network transaction fees required to send the tips.
* It also includes a few tips that were successfully sent but did not appear in the wallet transaction history, even though the recipients received them.

With this final distribution, the entire BCHNostr Tipping Fund has now been fully used.

I sincerely hope this initiative can receive funding again in the future so we can continue recognizing and rewarding active BCHNostr users. Even small tips can encourage members to stay active, create more content, and help grow the community.

I already finished cleaning the house, so now I can finally take a little rest. We’re going to have visitors again later because my eldest child’s classmates are coming over to work on their research project. It’s been a busy day, but I’m glad everything is ready before they arrive.

On July 13 at around 9:30 PM, I transferred $10 from the BCHNostr Tipping Fund to my BCHNostr wallet to distribute tips to different community members.

Current remaining balance (based on the current BCH price): 0.06440 BCH (approximately $14.92).

After posting this update, I will transfer the remaining $14.92 to my BCHNostr wallet for the final round of community tips, which will completely use up the current crowdfunding fund.

The photos attached below show the different users who received the tips.

Distribution details:

* Different users received $0.50 (around 200,000+ sats in BCH).
* The $10 budget was used to reward active community members.
* The small amount left from the $10 covered the minimal network transaction fees for sending the tips.
* It also includes a few tips that were successfully sent but did not appear in the wallet transaction history, even though the recipients received them.

I'm sharing this update to keep the BCHNostr Tipping Fund fully transparent and show exactly how the funds are being used. If you'd like to see the complete transaction history from day one, feel free to scroll through BCHNostr Tipping Transparency Fund in community space.

I spent some time scrolling through the crowdfunding campaigns, and if I counted correctly, around 20 campaigns have already received funding. That's a significant amount of support from the community.

Some campaigns have already been completed, some are still ongoing, and for others, I'm not sure what happened afterward. There may have been updates that I simply missed since I'm not online 24/7.

It made me wonder... what's the latest news? 😊 I'd love to hear how these projects are doing. Even a small update would be nice, especially for those of us who can't keep up with every post.

On July 12, I transferred $10 from the BCHNostr Tipping Fund to my BCHNostr wallet to distribute tips to different community members.

I decided to treat my family today, so I bought 1½ kilos of macaroni to make my homemade no bake macaroni and homemade beef burgers with two slices of cheese each. I made the beef patties myself because the frozen ones sold in stores are just too thin. I also added to cook, creamy béchamel sauce to make the macaroni even better.

I only spent around $25, and the ingredients are enough to make more no bake macaroni for the next few days. Eating at home is definitely more budget friendly than dining out.

This time, I wanted to treat everyone I'm living with. The last time I treated someone was during the QBTC days, when I treated my mom and my sibling. It's nice to be able to share a simple homemade meal with the people around me.

I've been actively tipping over 200k sats, and I've noticed something that I'd like to ask about. BCH Reply Guy (npub1mad…rgfg)

Sometimes, when a tip takes a long time to send, it seems like the tip doesn't go through, but the sats are still deducted. Because of that, I've had to cover the missing tips several times over the past few days.

My budget is usually around $10 for 20 users, so I'm wondering why I keep running short. Is there a fee for sending tips that I'm not aware of?

At first, I thought I had made a mistake, but after seeing it happen multiple times, I'm wondering if there might be a bug with the zap/tipping system. Has anyone else experienced this?
