I’m trying to remember if the yellow was an OEM color. Many you see are now pastel versions of their original colors. For these old cars, the pastel usually works nicely.

‘57 Chevies were a top seller back then. Today, they’re pretty rare.

There was hellfire Friday evening. And a flat battery in the real camera. Somehow it pretended to be plugged in and charging but not really. Took this first image then “battery exhausted” appeared and things faded to dark.

Saturday morning, we had a nice surprise with low crystalline light that was just wonderful. The neighbor's gorilla (really tall) roses looked like holiday ornaments. Mr Sycamore was also brilliantly lighted. And Rocky's bum.

Ahoy all, I finally processed the morning's snaps. Since then, the cold front has made it through. There's a bit of a breeze and it is partly sunny and 20 degrees C here at the manor. Is it still shorts weather? We'll see.

Out of curiosity, I checked the FujiFilm USA website to see if XT-5 bodies are in stock. They have some. There limited supplies are very nearly gone. Kit lenses are out of stock but they had a few of the sweet 14 mm fast prime.

With the Sony, I find I shoot a lot at 20mm and some at 50 mm with the 20-200 travel zoom on the camera.

I've just come in off a grueling shift of neighborhood watching from the observation post (OP). Minion tidied the image up.

I ate after Rocky. Rocky has become accustomed to having biscuits on the porch while I eat. Today, I balked at first offer. Dismal Wrangler put Rocky on lead while I ate. And Missy good girl cleaned her plate! No leftovers for Rocky.
