Bloke On A Trike

I feel bad for missing my schedule earlier this month, but life got int he way, and things have been a tad complicated. But things are still mostly chugging along. As it became apparent a few months ago, my wife and I left London and moved a little further North, to Milton Keynes. A city that, before moving to England, I only heard mentioned by Terry Pratchett and Neil Gaiman in Good Omens.

https://flameeyes.blog/2026/06/19/bloke-on-a-trike/?utm_source=mastodon&utm_medium=jetpack_social

End of the year appears to have woken up networking folks trying to convince us that 2025 is definitely the year of
#IPv6!

If you believe so, help me collect services that are totally definitely available over IPv6, to show that v4 is legacy, and users can totally give it up!

https://ipv6-in-real.life/

      In reply to nevent1q…gsym
_________________________

I'm sorry, I haven't really looked into this because my view is well pointing at permissive licensing nowadays, but do you mean that if a webapp provides an advanced search interface it actually affects the copyright of the database server? Or just phpMyAdmin?

Or what is the bar for an application layer to separate itself from the storage technique?

(If the answer is "you can't know unless a judge in the EU tells you" then this license is toxic and I don't even discuss it.)
