They would have a homecare nurse come once a day to tend to the drain and make sure the thingy in her arm for the antibiotics is looking good. If after a day or two the nurse says she goes back, then she will be readmitted. She&#39;s down to having the drain irrigated and emptied once a day and only has a few days of iv antibiotics left. Looks like the rupture in her intestine has been healing nicely. Daughter is worried that it&#39;s too soon and is very much against it.
