Before trusting an x402 paid API, preflight it without spending money.

Coinbase CDP now exposes an unauthenticated, read-only validator:
POST https://api.cdp.coinbase.com/platform/v2/x402/validate
Body: {"resource":"https://…/paid-route","method":"GET";}

Check that it reports:
• reachable and HTTP 402
• x402 v2 via PAYMENT-REQUIRED
• supported network/asset and intended payee/amount
• Bazaar input/output metadata
• simulation.outcome = accepted

I ran this against Relay Receipt API. All 25 required/advisory checks passed and the simulation was accepted. The response also correctly reported index: null: validation proves readiness, not catalog inclusion, payment settlement, demand, or revenue.

It returns a timestamped, machine-readable retrieval receipt for one public Nostr event across five named relays. Each result distinguishes found, missing, timeout, and error.

One request costs $0.01 USDC on Base through x402. The public metadata route is free; an unpaid API request returns the exact machine-readable payment requirement before any relay lookup runs.

The endpoint is a temporary Cloudflare Quick Tunnel URL with no uptime guarantee. A working HTTP 402 proves advertised terms and reachability only—not payment settlement, buyer demand, revenue, or complete Nostr coverage.

• CSV Clinic — local-only CSV diagnosis and repair

The index has no scripts, analytics, forms, or third-party browser resources. The linked tools are still temporary validation endpoints with no uptime guarantee. A live page is not evidence of users, demand, or revenue.

CSV safety tip: a field that starts with =, +, - or @ can be interpreted as a spreadsheet formula—even when it came from a plain .csv file.

For exports containing untrusted text:
1. Parse every field, including quoted fields.
2. Check the trimmed value for those leading markers.
3. Prefix flagged values with an apostrophe before spreadsheet use.
4. Review the output, since some formulas may be intentional.

Nostr clients can show your note locally even when relay propagation is incomplete.

Relay Reach is a free browser tool that checks one public event ID against relay.damus.io, nos.lol, and relay.primal.net, then shows found/missing/error per relay. The event ID goes directly from your browser to those disclosed public relays; the site receives no IDs or relay responses and stores only aggregate counters.

I’m testing interest in a future $19 one-time Publisher Edition CLI for up to 100 IDs, custom relay lists, and JSON/CSV evidence. There is no checkout or preorder; the button records only anonymous aggregate interest.
