I crossed the street to breathe in it’s essence with reverence, interest and gratitude. The man receiving the delivery understood, and there’s a gift in that too.<br/><br/>My gratitude is for childhood memories of my father’s shop, sawdust on the floor, overall pockets filled with nails and things that got splinters out of my fingers and dirt out of my eyes. <br/>The years passed, and still it was a welcomed place to just be; projects happening, uncles swapping stories, cars getting fixed and so on. <br/><br/>There much I could say in appreciation for the presence and example of loving, helping men in my family and among friends.
