We had some recent storms in my area with the most lightning strikes I&#39;ve ever seen. Easily the best storm we&#39;ve had in terms of a light show in the last two decades. I managed to get around to the side of it to take some shots. <br/><br/>This is what happened over a 10 minute period at the peak of the storm. Bolts coming down at crazy intervals in multiples with flashes of lighting crawling across the sky. These things are incredible! Towering above me, it&#39;s mind boggling that they were built by tiny little ants. They can grow past 4m (!!!) and survive for over 100 years. I have the same struggles with my photography - I&#39;ve been winning awards and every art show I get I get people coming up to me and saying how one of my pieces was their favourite, even won a people&#39;s choice award at a big show recently, but can&#39;t seem to translate that in to sales. I went with a wildlife guide who took me in what was basically a 4.5m tinny. After the tour he told me a story that about 25 years ago the rangers had to track down and shoot a big croc after it had tipped over 4 or 5 tinnys with fishermen in it.
