I quite like this color, it does really look like the gem it's trying to emulate. Very dusty pink with nice shading. I used this in this M600 IB for a few weeks and it was really effective as a heading ink. Probably not so much as a writing ink.

Got this at Pelikan Hub and proceeded to swatch it right there. I'm not so attracted this sky blue color range (I don't really use kon-peki or ama-iro either) but the shading is nice and it's certainly a cheery ink. I've used a pretty wet nib here (a 14K OBB) so that bears out in the shading.

with laser printers the trick is to print the lines in “grey” which results in less toner being deposited. With inkjets you might want to check if the ink it uses is pigment ink. Sometimes the black ink is pigment while the color inks are dye inks.

in my experience this doesn’t really help for pen photos, the iPhone camera sensors are small and it too hard to guess what you want, and the colors are extremely inaccurate in the first place because of the small sensor.

I used to bring up exposure, brightness, and vibrance primarily in order to try to compensate, but eventually I gave up and got a standalone camera.

This is a lovely forest green high contrast ink, thanks [@moss](https://kind.social/@moss ) for the sample. I used this in EF pens for notes with great success. Low shading, no sheen really. Flows well which is signature of all the Edelstein inks.

I would go with a Platinum Prefounte or Pilot Lightive. Most of the Jinhaos don’t seal too well so aren’t good with waterproof inks. I use both these pens, Prefounte I have inked with Platinum Carbon Black and Lightive I have Sailor Seiboku. Both have had this ink in them for around 2 years, with no issues.

Named after a Filipino holiday cake, this has a yellow-orange base color. The shimmer is a bit of a dark grey color from most angles, and only looks silver with light directly toward it. The shimmer is also a bit uneven, as seen in the writing sample.

For me I think this would be only for broad nibs. Too light for writing.
