But you don't NEED to install arch.

Step 1 - Get USB
Step 2 - Plug in USB and download a distro like fedora or ubuntu
Step 3 - Flash the ISO file on the USB

Step 4.5 - You can disable Secure Boot here

Yeye. I don't aim to disable the development of more inclusive protocols for those scenarios. The point I want to get at is that, imo, compatibility with previous X11 features should be an *extremely high* priority, rather than an optional thing than can be tossed by the wayside.

Basically -Give. Programs. Options.- Allow developers to use window positioning if they WANT to, rather than forcing them out of being able to, again, do really cool window positioning stuff.

Completely axing positioning causes more trouble than it's worth, imo at least.

This is a hot take of mine... But I think floating windows in a 2D space is a MUCH better method of window management than tiling. I have only really tiled like... a few times. It's handy when I need it, but I don't think it's the future of window management in any way whatsoever.

Plus, there a lot of cool meta games that play around with the window position. So losing window position compatibility is not worth it whatsoever.

Just allow a window to have a global space x and y to use if they wish. Maybe have a "legacy position" toggle??

They made a post about asking game devs about games they have with LGBTQIA topics, they blocked the person who said "focus on the engine, not politics", and they swiftly took care of the people who harassed the community manager in the Github.

Even though they had some false positives in the sweep, they appologized for that and offered a way for innocent blocks to get unblocked.

The way I saw many tech Youtubers react to this completely correct action kinda... revealed their true colors :P

What I am most happy about with this is that Godot actually recieved a SPIKE in funding in the aftermath.

They continued on their way to develop more amazing features.

I think "file" is supposed to be a catch-all keyword for operations involving files.
It was pioneered by windows because they (and apple) were trying to find ways to make computers easier for the general public, and not be scared that they'll mess something up

When I see ACAB, I just think "WHAT kinda reforms are you even wanting?? It just sounds like you are jobist against law enforcement in general". Which I know know isn't the case. But the first impression isn't all that great.

Meanwhile with ACHAP, I think "Ohhhhh! Interesting. I haven't thought about that before. I immediately wanna back you up and reform laws so that police officers don't abuse their power"

I dunno if this is my Autism or not, but I have a higher chance of rallying for Acronyms that are descriptive in their goals, rather than Acronyms that are provocative. This is because I can actually understand their viewpoint immediately from the acronym, rather doing guesswork.

ACAB can come off as "All police officers everywhere are absolutely horrible people!!!" which can be easily falsified if just one police officer is an actually pretty nice guy that just tries to help people out, rather than abuse power. People can also easily respond back with "Well... MY officer in my town wasn't a bastard to me. He was a chill guy"

On contrast, ACHAP - All Cops Hold Abusable Power, is a much more nuetral and, imo, useful way to look at systematic problems in the police force. It also has much more stable grounds to not be so easily falsified, despite having "All". (which usually makes a lot of statements easily falsifiable).

I know almost everyone just gets news online, but the magazines feel like a piece of art in of themselves. Whether from the cover art, the arrangent of subjects, enclusive content (like comics), eta.
I'm kinda mad that video game magazines were pretty much already dead by the time I'd be into that stuff as a kid.
