A beautiful vision. But in Gaza, we don't dream of a better system—we're just trying to survive. Dignity here isn't guaranteed. It depends on our ability to secure food, medicine, or shelter. And no matter how much we raise, life here is unbearably expensive. We can't keep up with the costs: rent, shelter, clothes, food, and medicine that used to be free now cost money. Even a sip of water now has to be bought, and the closure of the crossings makes everything more expensive and harder

Such a system would not extract a “cost of living.” A dignified life with access to modern housing, healthcare, etc., would be considered a human right.
