My impressions of the Boof-Wong dm-1701 after fiddling with the CPS for the better part of the night and playing with the radio itself since this morning: not bad at all.
Digital mode works as expected, remote monitor works fine, radio can be disabled remotely, text messaging works... Nothing bad to say about it, really. Well, maybe with the exception of squelch. It only has two settings: normal and tight. Would be cool to have a bunch of levels, but other than that...Hey, 40-ish bucks DMR 😂
