Created a simple flow with Buzz for updating our Orders channel when purchases come through on @yggr. Here is a small guide to duplicate what we did.

Create a hex key pair. I use nak.

Add the new "Member" in Settings > Community Access

Or use nak:

Get the UUID of the channel by navigating to the channel and clicking "Channel Settings".

Now use the Buzz CLI to add that member to the channel.

Now that you have a working key pair to connect you can create automations where that account posts into any channel you want with any content you want.

What I did was create a simple function in our app called sendChannelMessage.

And at the call site I built a small markdown message that looks like this. Notice I am passing our BUZZ_ORDER_CHANNEL_ID in as a param. This can be reused for any channel the account you created has access to.

Inside of buzz it looks like this:

I know this is a primitive implementation but it's been helpful for us. I would love to see other ways people are creating automations with their Buzz community.
It would be a bad look for US companies to ban competition. It’s already a bad look that they’re wanting to.

I’ll make a post when the Ethiopian gets here.

But Colombian beans are dense and can be bitter if not extracted properly. If you’re making coffee casually I’d strongly recommend our medium roast from Brazil, Algiz.

As to sourcing, nothing too fancy. Namely trying to find the best green coffee we can that’s not going to break the wallet. We will be offering G1 Ethiopian coffee soon but wanted to soft launch with something more casual and affordable.
