Melitopol is the one huge weak point in the entire system. If the troops in Kherson and Crimea can be cut of from the train line and highway, everything west of it is on immediate life support. (Or rather, off it.)

I think the Ukrainians have the patience and discipline not to charge ahead blindly at every breakthrough and end up in the same position as the initial Russian invasion force, with unsecured flanks and no real supply lines.

I expect the territory to be taken back in bites, not all at once. With time taken to secure what has been gained and get things organized for the next step before moving on.

But the pace at which that happens is impossible to predict.

When I switched from Fedora to Manjaro, I was giving Amarok another try as my music player. It mostly works, but has a number of very minor, slightly inconvenient bugs, and seems to not have some simple features I appreciated in Clementine. Nothing individually significant, but very unsatisfactory in their volume.

I'm now trying Audacious, and this looks and feels very nice.
Very plain UI, but seems very customizable to show the things I want and remove those I don't.

I think the odds are higher than not that an alien microbe entering a body would find nothing to eat and starve without being able to multiply.

But there's only so many ways you can make simple molecules out of the most common elements. So some alien biospheres sharing sugar as a basic energy storage molecule would be happening at random.
