I was rather stoked to try Angor, so I hope this solves it. Yup, i would not be surprised if Windows is the problem with all their proprietary BS and hoops to jump through, but i am not familiar enough with the development to offer an educated opinion, so I will defer to you on that one. in Rocky Street, back when they had a Mardi Gras ...
i had explored even my secret gems after a stp at the cofee shop and the comic book store and nothing, so explored further than usual, and on the border of the next neighbourhood ... I discovered a weird hippie looking salvage store with vinyl and tapes. No metal. No grunge ... but weird stuff, A ManOwaR LP amongst others on the wall. Thus it was that this album caught my eye. It was on tape cassete, and I listened and bought it, This song still lives in my head ... rent free.

Yes ... you need a place to host the rss-feed xml file. You will define the details for your tracks there. I used MSP 2.0 (nprofile…d0nk) and it was a massive help as it provided a simple interface to define the track and album details like where the audio file is and where the album art id. Once defined in MSP 2.0 (nprofile…d0nk) you simply save and export the xml file that it will generate for you and upload it tothe root directory of your webpage. I have not tried Sunami (nprofile…va2w) so i cannoy offer any opinion on it. but can check it out as well ...

Well ... thank you for saying that ... and I definitely appreciate the sentiment. My hope is to stack loads of sats and fund a proper home-recording setup, but ... Its only been a week or so, and all of that will take time 😊 and having gotten the zaps working i was stoked to reciprocate and give back some of that good energy, that made my first week such an unexpectedly good experience😅 But, i get what you mean. I actually felt fike I was transported back through time, to when I was a teenager in school and I would listen to the radio, and discover new music with no control over what would play next, yet perfectly happy to listen along. There was no #socialMedia yet, or if there was it was probably bbm and unknown to me ... People danced in nightclubs and smoked cigarettes and weed, and drank alcohol. This episode reminded me of how cool it actually was listening to the radio. A musical journey around the world featuring independent talent. Cool host as well.
"New To Radar" definitely gets my vote.
If that is a #pilot ... I definitely want to hear more.

📅 June 19th. Five acts. Belgrade's historic district and one of its floating clubs, which clearly became the beating heart of the independent scene.

👥 A live audience in the room, and people like me watching online through various Nostr apps.

🎶 Totally different rhythms converging around one important statement:

A mission I could sense even from the other side of the screen. And, that's the part I'd like to share with those who missed it.

🎙️ The show began with The Higher Low (npub1jp9…al58) and a handful of his acoustic songs. Honest lyrics paired with catchy melodies that carried themes of strength, truth, and sovereignty.

🎙️ Then came Joe Martin (npub19r9…eukr) [ϟ♫ EPK Lite ⧉] with his warm voice and story-driven tunes. Young, talented, humble, a rare breed in his style, blending folk and Americana in a way that feels both tender and quietly powerful.

🎙️ After Joe, the energy turned sharper with Longy (npub19pp…p04j) [ϟ♫ EPK Lite ⧉]. His unmistakable punk-rock style and gritty vocals filled the space with an unapologetic edge — timeless sound caught somewhere between grief and euphoria. As expected, it was a top-class performance!

Meanwhile, Aaron of Essex (npub1c39…2lhm) the MC of the event, was warming up the crowd with unique intros and announcements. With his magnetic temperament and significant contribution to the v4v scene (having onboarded more artists than most of us could keep track of), he was the perfect fit for the role.

🎙️ But it was Scardust (npub1xyk…56xr) the headliner, progressive metal band fronted by NoaGruman (npub1dqu…p94g) who really set the evening on fire. Drawing from both older tracks and songs from their recent album “Souls”, they filled the floating stage with wide-ranging vocals, powerful riffs, and a relentless force.

The crowd got into it almost instantly, headbanging and moving hard, while online the chat exploded with comments and bigger tips flowing in like confetti.

By the way, speaking of tips, the venue choice fit the event perfectly. Not only because of its rootsy, almost rebellious aesthetic mixed with retro old-school charm, but also because of the name itself. Coincidence or not, “Zappa Barka”. Here, for those who don’t know, in the v4v music space direct tips to artists are often called “zaps” 😉

The goal for the evening was to reach one million in sats — the smallest units of bitcoin, equal roughly $700. It’s a decent number, yes, but events like this, with five live acts at once, deserve way moooooore. Truly hoping future events in this style will exceed that mark easily.

Anyway…moving on with the lineup:

🎙️ After the raw intensity of Scardust, Roger9000 (npub1wxg…svzl) [ϟ♫ EPK Lite ⧉] took over with his electronic sound. In theory it was a sharp contrast, but in practice it still carried its own kind of fire.

The opening track, "Kyrie", a hypnotic remake of one of his older pieces, created a striking shift and sent a wave of goosebumps through the room.

What followed was more dynamic, the very hits that define his sound, getting the remaining crowd jumping, singing, and dancing along.

In true Roger fashion, his immersive visuals and volcanic energy kept the very spirit of the night alive until the very end — drawing plenty of "awe comments" and a new wave of zaps that helped push toward that one million goal.

I couldn't stay for the DJ set (it was already very late), but I imagine it gave the people who were there in person a nice way to chill after everything that happened earlier.

Huge congratulations to the organizers, the whole production crew, and every musician who made that night what it was.

Electric. Memorable. Authentic.

Yeah, i am pretty new to github as well, but i understood how change control works for coding, and pulling and committing code to a central repository, so it was cool too see it all in action on this project and i actually feel like i understand github a bit better now. The problem did not end up being with my links, but with github itself, and some anomoly where it was turning the images to text files. And i missed it, so i uploaded them again and deleted the old ones, and it works!🙌 But, yeah, thanks for taking the time to point out the PodPing section! That's good to know for the next time i edit the xml 😅

So, i am going to need to do some editing to fix that and i was loathe to get stuck into the xml again, and possibly break it 😅But yes! Wow! That was a lot of homework! 😅 I do not have a website so I just created a basic one using github pages ... with a subscribe link. Once I got that working I created the xml file for the feed ... and getting that to work basically took me two days! 🙈 😭 lol ... but, i just ran it through the podcast validater, and looks like i got it working now!😄 🙌 Its all very basic and I just used the audio and images available in order to test it out ... but I think I may be ready to submit it to that #podcastIndex

Yeah, i did approve the event kind when I tried to post. And told it not to ask again, on the second attempt. I was just annoted because in both instances I wrote and formatted the article in the Primal interface for articles, and thus lost it both times when it did not post ... but, yeah. I guess it is a lesson to save a copy before posting. I had a look in Yakihonne, but the articles were not visible there ... and with Habla.news ... they did not give me an option to login using the browser extension, so I did not bother proceeding.

Eesh! I hoped that would sort it out. I am using Primal. So I went into Edit Profile and changed my Lightning address to the Wallet of Satoshi address ... But, the NIP-05 is still Alby for the Browser extension login, I expect ... and i figured it would work correctly like that. I was not sure if I should use the wallet of Satoshi address in the NIP-05 field as well ...
