FreeBSD, specifically, but I&#39;m interested in learning about all of them! I&#39;m a former Unix Hardware Engineer for Digital Equipment Corporation, the best company I ever worked for. I miss that job every single day. Over the years, I&#39;ve worked with Unix in the hardware space, Unix support, a bit of development, and even Information Security. I was laid off a few years ago from an IT job and have had a hard time finding new work. I think it&#39;s because of my age, but I gave up caring a year or so ago. I&#39;m now working for a non-profit. I enjoy the work but do miss working in the IT industry. At nearly 60 years old, not sure if I&#39;ll ever have the chance to return to IT.<br/><br/>I&#39;m a bicycle commuter and public transit user and advocate. I&#39;m not a fan of cars but understand that here in the US, it&#39;s hard not to have one since our cities have been rebuilt around the car. I wish more funding was put into better and safer pedestrian, bike, and public transit.
