Use cases can be different. For manent you have one nostr identity and many devices. You automatically can sync notes and files between devices. Think about pasting a text to yourself from web WhatsApp and copying it from your mobile WhatsApp.

My use case is I have several chat bot instances in my local machine (could be a several different servers too). I have a personal assistant bot and create notes using the chat. Then I wanted to share those notes with another chat bot I have. It's not actually between different clients (I'm using same 0xchat client to talk with many nostr bot identities)

You can now send files between bots.

On Bot A:

`!file upload <file> <npub_of_bot_b>`

copy the naddr and go to Bot B chat:

`!file download <naddr>`

The bot encrypts the file and uploads it to Blossom. Publishes a pointer to the blossom file on a nostr note. You can update the same file again and again, naddr won't change.

While built for bots, the underlying approach could work for any Nostr client that wants encrypted file sharing over Blossom.

I'm vibe coding something complex. Still couldn't finish it all but I came with a very good recipe for vibe/hybrid coding that worked for me:

Give your requirements clear and detailed before starting. Ask for solutions/options for the implementation in a markdown file as a spec

Review the document. If satisfied, let it build everything.

Iterate over it until you have something tangible. Fix the errors.

Do a simple test. If you can't fix the bug, ask for adding logs. Than share the logs with the errors.

If the code sucks, ask for a refactor.

If you have a lot of bugs, try to read the code and ask any stupid question you don't understand. At some point it would start to make a better version.

I sometimes try to make it think differently and prompt something like: you are an industry leader expert or architect etc. and analyze current architecture and come up with a plan that how would you design such a system from scratch.

Again ask for a plan before a big change. Commit any changes if you feel you made some progress.

I'm developing a web animation app right now that resembles Macromedia flash from my memory. Combining great libraries like Konva and gsap to create something that would solve my unique requirements. Maybe I could find something else that already works but I feel doing it this way is better in the long run because once I finished I will have full control over it.

Hash gücü doğrudan ölçülen bir sayaç değildir; blokzincirde herkesin görebildiği verilerden türetilen bir tahmindir. Bitcoin protokolü, her 2.016 blokta bir zorluğu otomatik ayarlayarak ortalama blok süresini 10 dakikaya yakın tutar. Zorluk yükseldikçe bir bloğu bulmak için gereken hesaplama miktarı artar; dolayısıyla tahmini hash gücü de bu veriler ve son blokların bulunma süreleri üzerinden çıkarılır.

Tarihsel bağlam önemli: 2009’daki Genesis Bloğu ile başlayan ilk günlerde zorluk seviyesi 1 idi. Bugün gelinen noktada zorluk (örneğin 136,04 trilyon) başlangıca kıyasla astronomik seviyelere ulaştı. Bu fark, madencilerin ağa getirdiği işlem gücündeki muazzam büyümeyi sayısal olarak ortaya koyuyor.

Bitcoin’in ilk günleri sade ve deneysel bir ruha sahipti. 2009’da Genesis Bloğu yayımlandığında madencilik, Satoshi Nakamoto ve erken katılımcıların sıradan masaüstü bilgisayarlarıyla, yani CPU’larla yapılıyordu. Zorluk seviyesi 1 idi ve bloklar kişisel bilgisayarlarda bulunabiliyordu. Hal Finney’e gönderilen ilk Bitcoin transferi, bu erken dönemin merak ve keşif dolu atmosferini simgeliyordu.

Ağ büyüdükçe ve zorluk mekanizması devreye girdikçe CPU’lar yetersiz kalmaya başladı; 2010–2011 aralığında GPU’lar (ekran kartları) öne çıktı. Ekran kartlarının paralel işlem gücü, hash üretiminde çarpan etkisi yarattı ve hash gücünde sıçrama görülmeye başladı. Bunu, 2011–2012 döneminde FPGA’lar izledi; FPGA’lar daha düşük enerjiyle daha yüksek verim sunarak geçiş döneminin köprüsü oldu.

Asıl kırılma ise 2013 itibarıyla ASIC’lerle (yalnızca SHA‑256 için tasarlanmış özel çipler) geldi. İlk nesil cihazlar, genel amaçlı donanımlara kıyasla verimlilikte devrim yarattı; “Joule/TH” metrikleri hızla iyileşti. Kısa sürede, GPU ve FPGA madenciliği rekabet gücünü yitirdi ve ağın hash gücü neredeyse bütünüyle ASIC’lere taşındı.

2017 sonrasında madencilik, veri merkezi standartlarına yaklaşan tesisleşmiş yapılara evrildi. Konteyner tabanlı modüler kurulumlar, immersiyon (daldırma) soğutma, yüksek yoğunluklu raf sistemleri ve profesyonel operasyon süreçleri yaygınlaştı. 2021’de Çin’deki kısıtlamalar sonrası hash gücünün önemli bir kısmı Kuzey Amerika, Orta Asya ve İskandinavya gibi bölgelere yeniden dağıldı. 📈 Hash Gücü ile Bitcoin Fiyatı Arasındaki İlişki

Bu açıdan bakıldığında, yüksek hash gücü madencilerin uzun vadeli güveninin ve ağ altyapısına yapılan yatırımların yansımasıdır.

Ancak konu tartışmalıdır. Bazı analistler, hash gücündeki parabolik sıçramaların zaman zaman fiyat için bir “güven sinyali” olabileceğini; yeni ASIC sevkiyatları, halving sonrası teşvik yapısı ve enerji anlaşmaları gibi arz taraflı etkenlerin, kimi dönemlerde hash gücünü fiyatın önüne geçirebildiğini savunur. ⚠️ Güvenlik: Hash Gücü Neden Kritik?

Devasa hash gücü, Bitcoin’i %51 saldırısı gibi senaryolara karşı pratikte son derece dirençli kılar; böyle bir saldırının donanım ve enerji maliyeti akıl almaz büyüklüklere ulaşır. Buna karşın daha küçük proof‑of‑work ağlarında riskler çok daha yüksektir. Nitekim Eylül 2025’te Monero (XMR) ağı, hash gücünün büyük bölümünü elinde tutan bir havuzun yol açtığı 18 blokluk reorganizasyon yaşadı; 118 işlem geçersiz kaldı ve yaklaşık 36 dakikalık zincir geçmişi silindi. Bu olay, yetersiz hash gücüne sahip ağların ne kadar savunmasız olabildiğini bir kez daha gösterdi.

Ölçek farkını görmek açısından: Bitcoin bugün ZH/s mertebesinde ölçülürken, Litecoin (LTC) ve Bitcoin Cash (BCH) gibi ağlar TH/s seviyelerindedir. I couldn't get an API credentials for an Instagram business account. I was obliged to create a Facebook account first which I deleted a few years ago. You can't create an anonymous account, you have to give your real name. After doing a captcha puzzle that tested my IQ, I was asked to take a web cam picture. It's not just a picture though. You need to turn your head around: left right up and down.

After doing all of that my account immediately got suspended and it was automatically "Appealed". Now I got a new email from facebook that my review is unsuccessful and my account is permanently disabled.

Long story short, Facebook is crazy, nostr is a gift. It's a shame that almost no one uses or even knows about it.

All we can do is keep using it and building on it. Once you taste the freedom, you can't go back.

Welp Xitter is not very different. I think the best thing about Nostr for a developer is you don't need to ask for a permission.

I couldn't get an API credentials for an Instagram business account. I was obliged to create a Facebook account first which I deleted a few years ago. You can't create an anonymous account, you have to give your real name. After doing a captcha puzzle that tested my IQ, I was asked to take a web cam picture. It's not just a picture though. You need to turn your head around: left right up and down.

After doing all of that my account immediately got suspended and it was automatically "Appealed". Now I got a new email from facebook that my review is unsuccessful and my account is permanently disabled.

Long story short, Facebook is crazy, nostr is a gift. It's a shame that almost no one uses or even knows about it.

All we can do is keep using it and building on it. Once you taste the freedom, you can't go back.

Once your relay is running and accessible via your domain, you'll want to update your relay list in the Nostr network. This ensures other clients know about your relay and can connect to it.

Decoding npub (Public Key)

Private keys (nsec) and public keys (npub) are encoded in bech32 format, which includes: - A prefix (like nsec1, npub1 etc.) - The encoded data - A checksum

This format makes keys: - Easy to distinguish - Hard to copy incorrectly

However, most tools require these keys in hexadecimal (hex) format.

To decode an npub string to its hex format:

Change it with your own npub.

Your localhost relay can only be used from your phone or from your wifi network (need to know network IP). For others to use it, you need to tunnel it through a domain because your phone IP is dynamic.

I guess if you want to prevent DM metadata leaks, no one should be able to fetch those events besides you. This can be done via nip-42 AUTH messages but I don't see that feature in the citrine settings.

For your mates' notes, just add their npubs to "Accept events signed by" list. I'm writing a new article, as a part 2 to this on how to import from several relays and export events (broadcast) to your own relay.

Though most of the native apps are developed in flutter/dart which I'm also thinking to learn. Beware in ios you wouldn't pass ios app store permission to release as happened with Damus, they removed note zapping (counted as service payment) while keeping user zapping (counted as user tipping).

For google play, I'm not sure but many release their apps into 3rd party app stores like zapstore or f-droid. But i think it is a few extra steps for users to install your app. You need to give permission to install.

Personally I would go with the PWA route if you don't need native features that are missing in PWA.
