I am convinced I could hack Nostr quite easily as it&#39;s rather fragile, as are most things in their early stages. I quite like the fact that Nostr resembles the early days of the internet I never got to experience, it feels special in a way.<br/><br/>I&#39;ve been off Nostr for a while now but I do love it. I think I lost interest when I had almost finished my paper and stopped myself publishing it after I realised the backlash it would get from certain members of the community. Unfortunately some people love Nostr the way it is and don&#39;t want any clients at any point in the future to have to support any new NIPS or protocol changes. Therefore you can only make changes which do not break backwards compatibility. This makes it quite hard to introduce security measures to make Nostr more robust and scalable. Demand for new social media platforms is arising. Especially given the fact many countries are looking to require ID for social media as well as limit consumption by legal means. Not to mention the censorship issue everyone is becoming increasingly aware of. If Jack Dorsey for instance began promoting a new client with a killer user experience, the ability to chose your algorithm etc on social media as a sponsored campaign I think it would really start kicking off. <br/><br/>Of course we need to flatten the learning curve while still keeping the platform decentralised and redundant. The philosophy behind the book is that the majority of jobs are bullshit and meaningless. The benefit system, although necessary and in place to support those who need it, is rather oversubscribed. This is fantastic!!<br/><br/>Living as an artist isn’t easy by any stretch. Income can be irregular. We need music venues to go to, gigs to see, museums and the like. Without these magical things, a large part of the creative industry would die.<br/><br/>The money invested into those music venues and artists isn’t just being spent on anything, it’s going back into local economies. This is great for economies. Especially for a lot of young people who hold a degree in music or arts and then end up underemployed at McDonalds or something. <br/><br/>Surely one of the only meaningful things in life is the music and arts. The things that are irrational and don’t make sense. It’s living proof that our civilian is beyond basic survival. They can get away with a OTP (One Time Password) code in some cases. You then ask them on the platform you control to enter the OTP code (which was actually sent from Coinbase) and their phone might even automatically fill it in.
