I also feel the need to point out, again, that the Bible does NOT deny the divinity of Jesus. Instead, the Bible blatantly proclaims His divinity and is fundamentally incompatible with Islam:

I've finally decided on a privacy-focused mobile network to try. I've settled on Cape Cellular, for the reasons I previously described here:

Cloaked Wireless (https://cloakedwireless.com) offers the features of Silent Link, plus SIM swap protection. Plans are tiered subscriptions with varying prices and high speed data caps. Also have the option to ship a SIM card rather than using eSIM.

Lastly, Cape Cellular (https://cape.co) came out of beta earlier this year. If what their website claims is true, they offer significantly more privacy and security features than either of the other options. These include IMSI ID rotation, work-in-progress middle-to-end SMS encryption, disappearing call logs (which I assume the others have but just include in their promise not to store data), encrypted voicemail, "network lock," secure global roaming, 2 free additional lines for phone number segregation, and they run their own mobile core (meaning they don't piggyback off other networks). However, there are some things about it which concern me: You can't pay in BTC. Instead, payment is by credit card, though they still claim it to be "private" due to tokenization. The company has research tires to government organizations (Air Force) and markets heavily to government organizations. The pyramid scheme referral system could be interpreted as a red flag. And finally, the founder/CEO, John Doyle, previously worked at Palantir in technical roles.

None of these "red flags" necessarily mean Cape Cellular is compromised, but they are enough for me to feel cautious.

Does anyone out there have anything to add? Any other recommended carriers, or reasons to trust/distrust those mentioned?

So far, it's been simple to set up. Full support for GrapheneOS, no advertisements or bloat, and all their services are packaged into a single clean app. All the friction came from my old phone provider.

I think it largely depends on what you use your nsec for. If your nsec is attached to your reputation, business, finances, etc. then it makes sense to be paranoid about it being compromised.

It is entirely possible to know things about God. The general revelation provided by His creation is sufficient to know He is powerful and existent. And, God has revealed Himself and His nature through special revelation (miraculous means, e.g., His Written Word).

So, God can be described. Never in totality, but in His attributes and truths about His nature. You can describe aspects of His nature to others, yet they won't understand who God is or what He is like without a personal relationship with Him.

Even a lifetime spent getting to know Him leaves more to learn. A mere dictionary definition is woefully inadequate and misleading. It's impossible for any finite human to comprehend the true, infinite God.

I can understand if you're reluctant to believe I'm telling the truth about my background. However, your response demonstrates a lack of interest in real discussion, and fails to address the point I made.

I'm not the kind of person to believe the "official" narrative about everything. There are plenty of unorthodox views which I hold (vaccines are harmful, macroevolution is a lie, 9/11 was probably a false flag, etc.)

However, when I have personal experience which proves a conspiracy false, why wouldn't I share it? Obviously, there is plenty about my time in the Navy I'm unable to share, and little way for me to prove my honesty on a pseudonymous protocol such as Nostr. Sorry, but if you're claiming nuclear power as a whole is impossible or a hoax, you're wrong. Most conspiracy theories about the nature of nuclear power or radiation are just the result of paranoid people trying to explain things they don't understand the science behind.

As someone who has personally operated and maintained a nuclear reactor & associated systems aboard a submarine for years, I can say that nuclear power definitely does exist. The scientific and practical knowledge behind it is routinely taught to hundreds of students annually within the US Navy alone. The basic concepts aren't any great secret, and have been freely accessible to the public within Department of Energy training handbooks for decades.

On a nuclear submarine, there is no other long-term source of power. The submarine's battery is incapable of providing power longer than a few hours, cannot provide the steam power needed for high speed propulsion, and is routinely charged using electricity from the nuclear reactor. The emergency diesel generator is rarely used outside of emergencies and routine maintenance/training. Nuclear submarines operate for months, even years, without external power input being necessary.

I'd like to see a new NIP-56 report type for bot accounts. Right now, I'll sometimes report them as spam if they only repeat themselves, or exclusively post nonsensical, off-topic replies... but this comes nowhere close to covering the majority of bots.

Even better if clients would start making it possible to block/filter profiles and notes based on their associated NIP-56 reports.

This bubble reaches temperatures around the surface of the sun, and stuns its opponents. This is a physics phenomenon (cavitation) which only occurs when a certain speed threshold is reached which causes the H2O to vaporize then condense leading to a vacuum bubble. This is not something that can be slowly worked towards, it’s a hard threshold you must cross and before that speed is reached, nothing will happen. There is no reasonable explanation for the shrimp adapting a special claw mechanism that allows for this speed of snap (and it’s a special claw, it’s not both claws, only one “developed” [allegedly] these multiple new internal claw ‘parts’ to allow for these insane speeds).
• Consider the common butterfly, when a caterpillar cocoons, it actually dissolves into a “soup” of cells, which then ‘crystallizes’ into a new thing entirely, a butterfly. There is literally zero chance that was somehow gradually adapted towards.
• There are countless other examples like these. From animals and plants alike.

Additionally, consider how macro-evolution would even work in terms of reproduction. Your offspring with the genetic variation (micro variation) would still be sexually compatible with those without it, if macro-evolution is the stacking of millions of these changes you would not expect hard reproductive compatibility lines between species, instead the more micro-evolutions you stack, the less compatible you’d become, gradually, with others who don’t have as many of the micro-changes. So compatibility would gradually go from 100% to 0% across thousands of changes. We should expect to see a wide gradient of species fanned out between each other, instead we have firm distinct homogenous types with nothing in-between, the species should be like a long blurred line between each other…

You don’t even have to be a Theist to believe a better theory than this. It is more rational and logical to believe (and I’m suggesting you do consider this) that advanced aliens came to our planet and genetically engineered most, or even all, life we see. That is a much better theory than evolution. It’s even still a scientific theory, as it has support from the statistics involving the size of the universe and likelihood of aliens. It still sufficiently explains genetic similarities in species. I personally believe in God (YHWH) doing the genetic engineering, but to each their own.

Micro-evolution definitely does happen. It is observable and makes logical sense that environmental conditions select for specific traits within a kind of animal. It does lead to "speciation" or the creation of new species (a word created only in recent times, and poorly defined when you dig into it). For example, I believe horses, donkeys, and zebras probably had a common ancestor - some kind of horse.

However, this is simply a narrowing of the gene pool. No new data was created in the process. It results in less diversity of traits/genetics within a population, which CAN help the population survive better under specific environmental pressures. BUT, each successive generation does not "gain" any new functional organs, structures, proteins, etc. Instead, each successive generation is, on average, slightly weaker or more sickly if you disregard any environmental factors. An example would be chihuahuas, which have been (artificially) selected for being small and cute. Their survival is dependent on being cute enough a human will take care of them, but in absolute terms, they are far less capable of survival and more illness-prone than wolves. You can think of micro-evolution like very slow inbreeding on the scale of a whole species.

Evolutionists like to set up a straw-man argument: that creationists believe God created every single species in Genesis 1, and they all remain unchanged until this day. The reality is that "species" is a modern idea, and Genesis only says God created the "kinds" of animals. This even supports the story of Noah's Ark, with it only needing space for 2 of each KIND of animal (also excluding things like fish or bugs, which could survive the flood regardless). As an aside, Noah probably took juveniles instead of adults, too.

God created his animals with a perfect, fully formed, fully functional genetic code, with sufficient generic diversity already present for a large population to develop before inbreeding became an issue. As a result of generations of mutations and lost generic diversity from micro-evolution, today's species are both inferior to and more numerous than their original ancestral "kinds" that God created.

What biblical creationists do NOT believe in are macro-evolution, abiogenesis, cosmic evolution, or the big bang.

Macro-evolution would require the addition of functional genetic data. Evolutionists ascribe this to mutations. In reality, mutations either have no visible effect ("junk" dna changes - though scientists are now realizing that even so-called junk dna might have a purpose) or actively damage the previously functional dna sequences. The handful of examples they have of a mutation being "beneficial" have the same problem as micro-evolution, it's still a loss of the original (good) data. For example, when bacteria become drug resistant, it is often because a mutation caused damage to a part of the cell which the drug relies on to function.

On top of that, to create a new, functional organ - or even just a protein - would require the addition or modification of a ludicrously large number of nucleotides in a perfect sequence... without any intermediary stage being deadly... without subsequent mutations undoing previous changes (which they would - mutations are random)... and on top of that, every individual creature that carries this incomplete gene(s) throughout the generations mustn't die by chance before they can pass it on. Only after it becomes functionally beneficial would it have any advantage in selection, and even then would likely be drowned out by the rest of the gene pool.

Also, think of this: they say fish grew legs and walked onto dry land. What about a fish's environment is going to select for legs? What fish is going to develop legs (completely randomly, for millions of years) while living in the water, until they finally become useful enough to use on land? Additionally, legs by themselves would not be enough; it would also need functional changes to its skin/scales, circulatory system, respiratory system, instincts, eyes, spinal/skeletal structure, digestive system, etc. before the fish could even attempt using them.

It's ridiculous to think that life could come from rock soup (abiogenesis). Scientists have tried, repeatedly, to create the 20 amino acids that comprise life from nonliving matter in a laboratory, and have only succeeded with a couple of them (don't remember exact amount) under ideal laboratory conditions. It would have been impossible to get even that much under the NON-ideal conditions of the hypothetical primordial earth.

Sorry the note's running so long. Lots more I could talk about, but I'll cut it short here.

TLDR: Micro-evolution happens, all other kinds of evolution are bogus.

Please note, I'm aware that there's lots of controversy about and hate toward the guy from various groups. I'm not saying he's right about everything (in particular, I'm unfamiliar with his political and doctrinal views), but generally I agree with his statements regarding creation/evolution.

Many of his points are self-evident based upon available evidence and logic. Problem is many people either never see the evidence or don't think to question what they've been taught logically. Then they just have a gut reaction of "crazy religious person don't listen to him."
