It's very painful to write these posts but I'm unfortunately reaching the end of the line with nowhere to go. I'm desperately trying to save my career & working really hard to get myself into a better position, I'm still going to lose my home, I have zero choice about that. It's tough when you've worked so hard all your life then have the rug pulled from you. At 45 it's quite a big thing to have to deal with. If you can help me at all I'd really appreciate it.

I went to a local big gallery to showcase my photography & the feedback was that they really liked my work, however they wouldn't entertain me in allowing my photography up because I don't (no longer have) have an Instagram account to show how many followers I have.

I find it really sad that creativity is based just on a follow count & not the actual work.

I deleted my Twitter & X for very good moral reasons. That shouldn't be the only way I'm only going to get my work seen surely?

I then worked on lighting the scene, added a green light below & used some real smoke, then I created a second photo of the tear in the egg using a piece of black card that I cut into shape & then backlit with a green light & smoke. Stitched the two photos together & viola! Job done!

It's with great sadness that I have had to close my online store down, I worked so hard on it but I'm just not making enough to cover costs. Thanks to everyone who has supported me, it wasn't an easy decision, I'm hoping if I get any paid opportunities with my photography work I'll be able to reopen. Can't lie though it's made me feel like a massive failure. I was so excited to open it & really hoped it'd do well but it just isn't to be. It's tough doing everything by yourself.

I was going to save this one until Halloween but thought screw it! I aint waiting that long. All shot using real figures & homemade sets. I made the walls out of folded paper. Made the Central Jerk logo printed it onto a sticker and cut it out and stuck it to some acetate. It took me ages!

Well I'm officially allowed to let the cat out of the bag! 🥳 I'm extremely excited to announce that I've been given the wonderful opportunity to create a miniature photo for the official cover on Oracom's Alien magazine "The Universe of". Recreating the iconic Alien poster design.
