None of the staff at the ER who treated me poorly wore one, but all of the staff who were kind to me, did. There was very little if any deviation from this pattern. The same attributes that make a medical provider trustworthy also result in them choosing to mask, and vice versa.<br/><br/>The thing about a medical excuse not to wear one is that such a situation doesnt exist. If youre &#34;too sick to wear a mask&#34; youre also infinitely more vulnerable to the infections they would shield you from in the first place.
