I tested negative for EDS, but I have most of the symptoms. I was lucky enough to end up after years, with a great PT who mainly works with EDS patients. I have a rib in the back that has slid out of place and won&#39;t go back, which is causing widespread back and shoulder pain. My sacrum slips from side to side so no chairs are ever comfortable. I remember loving his books and their philosophical nature. There&#39;s both a 1972 Russian film and a 2002 American film based on the book. I recall the Russian film being fairly true to the book. The American version brings in strange religious undertones that were not in the book. The first two had to be moved from lower Manhattan as new city ordinances prohibited burials.
