Who ever becomes leader and it’s hard to see any significant policy change coming from anyone in the current labour cabinet (given they shackled themselves with their 2024 manifesto) needs to implement PR ASAP. Even if that means postponing the reform of the House of Lords. Doing both constitutional reforms is perhaps too much given all the other policy areas that need addressing.

One thing that annoys me about UK Labour right now is their continuing acceptance of reactionary rhetoric.

Yes it politically squeezes the tories out of existence, but it also pushes the opposition to Reform.

I'd much rather a labour party that ceases the centre-right even at the expense of conservatives ceasing back ground.

Labour need to focus on a progressive vision that appeals to the base and can garner support from the disillusioned right.

Perhaps an unpopular take on here now, but i don't innately hate AI - what I dislike is it being used to accelerate inequity. Trickling money and power to the 1%. Using training data that was stolen from the people and then rented back to them. Companies that consume an unsustainable amount of energy just to further their own profit.
