It currently has shitty single-wall corrugated pipe that plugged with a combination of shingle gravel, roots, and leaves. I tried clearing it. No way).

Corrugated is terrible.

PVC is great but can't be used here because it eventually cracks after a decade of freeze-thaw + heaving, then you get roots.

It'd be sweet if these pins are a full tty (read and write) and not just a read-only wall. I've had to remove probably two dozen screws to get this far and I haven't even taken the PCBs completely out.

I'd like to release alternative software/firmware for these robots, but if rooting it involves fully disassembling it to tap microcontroller pins, that'd be a bummer.

I need to physically move and rewire the rack (I want to put it on cinderblocks above the walkout door level so that if my basement floods, the bottom 4U doesn't get wet and spark up the rest of the rack).

Given my experience professionally auditing (i.e., reading) code in addition to my experience with puppeteering LLMs, this kind of programming plays extremely well to my strengths.

There are going to be a lot more amateur programmers soon. Bugs and vulnerabilities will likely *increase* as a result. Professional developer jobs will become more of a rarity. Junior developer jobs will continue to dry up; a trend that I anticipate will accelerate.

I could have done this completely from scratch in ~2-3 hours or with copy-pasta from TailwindUI + manual implementation in ~an hour.

By using a copy-pasta from TailwindUI COMBINED with some LLM instruction, I implemented this dynamic (API-driven) event calendar, front and backend, in less than 8 minutes.

While I'm perfectly capable of doing all this grunt work by hand, the time and expense saved by avoiding this H1B/1099 work is undeniable.
