I am so tired<br/><br/>god there is so much "discourse" going around Bluesky (thankfully only occasionally contaminating these timelines here on Mastodon) about which babyfurs are the "bad ones" and which are the "pure, innocent ones"<br/><br/>we're all the "bad ones" as far as conservatives and puritans are concerned. get it together. either we're all safe and included or none of us is truly safe in a space. either it's harmful to depict weird stuff or stuff that would be questionable in reality - in which case, we're basically all weird enough to count (even those of us who just envision ourselves as innocent little tots and stop there) - or it's not, and we're all on the same footing.<br/><br/>do what you gotta to keep yourself safe and connected, but please stop throwing other weirdos with weird kinks under the bus (especially other babyfurs) and equating fiction/fantasy to real life (especially where children or nonconsent are involved) :/ none of us win that comparison, especially in the face of increasing intolerance and people who want to equate us to abusers.<br/><br/>I dunno, just tired of seeing the purity politics clogging up my safe spaces >.> I just wanna be a smol little kitten, dangit, not worry about whether or not someone's gonna go after my friends for being the wrong kind of weird!
