Anybody here who knows anything about book marketing? I mean real marketing, not writing a blurb and setting up a blog. I know how to do that.
Where do you send your blurb? Where do you announce your book? Where do you send review copies? Are there any book sales reps who work for independent authors? What else am I missing?

Wrote a text-mode #Tetris clone that uses a fair shape picker by default (every kind of piece has the same chance of appearing). The program has quite a few options, but is in a rather unpolished state (no high-score list, etc). Runs on Unix (if you have #T3X installed) and #DOS.

The Mini #CommonLISP I have been working on now runs on CP/M with 2416 free cons cells. Enough to load Ken Kahn's tiny PROLOG and run a few simple queries.
The #AgonLight (18MHz eZ80) loads the LISP part of the code (236 lines) in 11 seconds. Simple programs run at acceptable speed, but slightly more complex PROLOG queries take *minutes*. :)

Should I write more CS or #programming #books? (http://t3x.org)
I have no idea where to announce my books. Hacker news is a lottery and on Mastodon I sell maybe one copy per week. Maybe! People who read my books seem to enjoy them a lot, but usually stumble across them only by accident.
I am not writing for the money, but a new book selling 20 copies per year is disheartening.
Thoughts?
