In relocating our gathering, Mayor Halsema cited vague suspicions and past “incidents” without evidence of disorder – undermining the right to protest.<br/><br/>Genocide in Gaza<br/><br/>The Dutch government continues to ignore international condemnation of Gaza’s genocide and sabotages efforts to end it. Even the July 2024 International Court of Justice ruling, confirming Israel’s violations of international law, has not changed its stance. While it claims to respect the arrest warrant for Netanyahu, it undermined the ICC by allowing Geert Wilders, the de facto Prime Minister, to visit him.<br/><br/>Both national and local politicians in the Netherlands continue to protect Israel. Under the influence of Israeli ministries, they continue to repeat and reinforce Israel’s propaganda story.
