I agree with the sentiments you expressed.

There is one thing that I dislike about your reply though. I admit that being raised in a protestant household has left a mark on me. I dislike and distrust anything that smells like Roman Catholicism. The use of the term "excommunicated" is one such distasteful thing. While maybe not theologically wrong, I prefer the term disfellowship. For many, the word excommunicate at the very least implies that the church is denying a person salvation and entry into heaven.

This is just my opinion though.

Anyway, continue to be like the Bereans and study the scripture to verify the truth. Go with grace in Christ.

Nationalism is a political, social, and cultural ideology that emphasizes the interests, culture, identity, and unity of a nation (a group of people sharing common language, history, traditions, ethnicity, values, or territory) above those of other nations or international bodies.

Therefore Christian Nationalism is a political, social, and cultural ideology that emphasizes the interests, culture, identity, and unity of a nation—understood as a group of people sharing common language, history, traditions, ethnicity, values, or territory—with Christianity (or a particular expression of it) viewed as integral or foundational to that shared heritage and character. It prioritizes this national framework above those of other nations or international bodies.

This is not a bad thing.
It is not an undesirable viewpoint.

It is what this country (the USA) was founded on and what the vast majority of the laws and standards of morality are dependent upon. Trying to change that ( like the left has been doing for a very long time ) weakens the foundation that this country is built on. This is a big reason why we have many the problems we see today.

I am against racism as classically defined:
Racism (classical definition) is the belief that humans can be divided into distinct biological "races," that inherited physical traits are linked to inherent differences in abilities, character, intellect, morality, or behavior, and that some races are superior or inferior to others.

I am NOT against being proud of my cultural heritage and trying to maintain it.

Why does that matter? Honestly, I can understand people avoiding the platform. It is not curated and does expose the users to content that they would not want to see sometimes. It's that whole dangerous freedom and free speech thing.

Would you be comfortable with your underage children consuming the content found here? X is not that different as far as carnal content goes if you know where to look. There are just fewer users here.

Jesus arrives in Bethany
“Therefore, six days before the Passover, Jesus came to Bethany where Lazarus was, whom Jesus had raised from the dead. Mary then took a pound of very expensive perfume of pure nard, and anointed the feet of Jesus and wiped His feet with her hair; and the house was filled with the fragrance of the perfume. What is the significance of anointing the feet of Jesus?

There are two cases where a woman anointed the feet of Jesus.

“Now one of the Pharisees was requesting Him to eat with him, and He entered the Pharisee’s house and reclined at the table. And there was a woman in the city who was a sinner; and when she learned that He was reclining at the table in the Pharisee’s house, she brought an alabaster vial of perfume, and standing behind Him at His feet, weeping, she began to wet His feet with her tears, and she wiped them with the hair of her head, and began kissing His feet and anointing them with the perfume.” Luke 7:36-38, (NASB)

This unnamed woman, who is simply called “a sinner,” was compelled to enter into a Pharisee’s house in order to anoint the feet of the Savior of sinners. It was a display her love and affections for the Lord who had forgiven her, for Jesus said,

“For this reason I say to you, her sins, which are many, have been forgiven, for she loved much; but the one who is forgiven little, loves little.” Luke 7:47 (NASB)

She “loved much” because she had been “forgiven much,” and she was willing to lavish upon her newfound Savior a whole box of precious perfume to show to all in the house her appreciation and gratitude for being forgiven.

The second case of a woman anointing the feet of Jesus is found in three passages: Matthew 26:6-13; Mark 14:3-9; and John 12:1-8.

In the first case noted above, the anointing took place in the house of a Pharisee, but in Mark 14:3 we learn that this anointing happened “in the house of Simon the leper.” The former was done by an unnamed sinful woman; this was done by Mary, the sister of Martha and Lazarus. The anointing by the unnamed sinner was to signify the love of a newly forgiven soul, but with Mary there was another reason that constrained her to empty her box of costly ointment upon the Savior’s feet.

“Leave her alone, so that she may keep it for the day of My burial. ” John 12:7, (NASB)

Mark is even more specific,

“She has done what she could; she has anointed My body beforehand for the burial.” Mark 14:8 (NASB)

She anointed Jesus’ feet in view of His impending death and burial! She was no doubt expressing her love for her Savior, as in the case of the sinful woman in the home of the Pharisee, but she had also entered into the truth that Jesus was on His way to the cross to die for her and this was her chance to anoint Him in anticipation of His burial. I have always admired Mary for she seems to have been the only disciple that truly believed Jesus when he announced that He would be crucified, buried and then rise from the dead the third day. Mary BELIEVED HIM and expressed her faith by anointing His feet! Jesus was so moved by her faith that He declared,

“Truly I say to you, wherever the gospel is preached in the entire world, what this woman has done will also be told in memory of her.” Mark 14:9 (NASB)

Triumphal Entry to Jerusalem

“...when the large crowd that had come to the feast heard that Jesus was coming to Jerusalem, they took the branches of the palm trees and went out to meet Him, and began shouting, “Hosanna! Blessed is He who comes in the name of the Lord, indeed, the King of Israel!” Jesus, finding a young donkey, sat on it; as it is written: “Do not fear, daughter of Zion; behold, your King is coming, seated on a donkey’s colt.” ” John 12:12-15(NASB)

Why is this important?
It is stated in the verses above. This fulfilled a prophecy of the Messiah.

This kind of welcome signifies a few things:
• That they all knew Christ as the Messiah (see Psalm 118:25-26)
• That they recognized that Christ is King (see 2 Kings 9:13)
• They all honored Him as both King and Messiah (see Zechariah 9:9)
• He is openly acknowledging that He IS the Messiah by accepting the way the crowds honor him.
"And yet some of the Pharisees in the crowd said to Him, “Teacher, rebuke Your disciples!” Jesus replied, “I tell you, if these stop speaking, the stones will cry out!” " Luke 19:39-40

This sets the stage for everything else that happens in the following week.

Jesus visits the temple briefly and returns to Bethany for the night. (Mark 11:11)

Cursing the Fig Tree

On the way to Jerusalem, Jesus curses a barren fig tree, symbolizing judgment on unfruitful Israel (Matthew 21:18–19; Mark 11:12–14).

Cleansing of the temple

“And Jesus entered the temple grounds and began to drive out those who were selling, saying to them, “It is written: ‘And My house will be a house of prayer,’ but you have made it a den of robbers.” And He was teaching daily in the temple; but the chief priests and the scribes and the leading men among the people were trying to put Him to death, and yet they could not find anything that they might do, for all the people were hanging on to every word He said.” Luke 19:45-48(NASB)

The Jews had profaned the Temple and perverted its purpose. Jesus came to bring everyone a way to be right with God. The old had to be done away with to make way for the new. The Lord had previously dwelt within the Temple. In the coming days He chose to make his dwelling within the believers where ever they might be. It was a shift from the corporate to the personal relationship. Instead of relying on a human priest to intercede for us, Jesus himself becomes our High Priest and the Holy spirit our intercessor. Jesus was teaching the people with authority; something that the Jewish leaders could no longer do. Jesus was speaking truth and they could not say otherwise. With every word, he called into question the legitimacy of the very people who were charged with leading the community.

Jesus Speaks to a group of Greeks (Gentiles) and predicts his death.

“ “Now My soul has become troubled; and what shall I say, ‘Father, save Me from this hour’? But for this purpose I came to this hour. Father, glorify Your name.” Then a voice came out of heaven: “I have both glorified it, and will glorify it again.” So the crowd of people who stood by and heard it were saying that it had thundered; others were saying, “An angel has spoken to Him.” Jesus answered and said, “This voice has not come for My sake, but for your sakes. Now judgment is upon this world; now the ruler of this world will be cast out. And I, if I am lifted up from the earth, will draw all men to Myself.” But He was saying this to indicate the kind of death by which He was to die.” John 12:27-33(NASB)

God spoke and EVERYONE heard. He was pronouncing judgment upon the whole of the Earth and it’s ruler Satan.

Jesus returns to Bethany for the night (Mark 11:19).

Questioned by Jewish Leaders

Jesus was teaching the people and day by day the people grew to respect Him more and more. The Jewish leaders saw what was happening and tried to stop Him. They tried to turn the people away from the influence of Jesus and back to themselves. Jesus responded in a way that the leaders could not refute and it infuriated them. The leaders tried to entrap Him with His own words. They called on him to answer questions of Jewish and Roman law but He answered in ways that adhered to both while at the same time protected him from legal consequence. They were even afraid to use their own authority to seize him in from of the crowds because of the sentiment of the crowds. Thus they began plotting in secret how and when to take him.

Jesus was confronted by the Chief Priests and Elders of the people
“When He entered the temple, the chief priests and the elders of the people came to Him while He was teaching, and said, “By what authority are You doing these things, and who gave You this authority?” Jesus said to them, “I will also ask you one thing, which if you tell Me, I will also tell you by what authority I do these things. The baptism of John was from what source, from heaven or from men?” And they began reasoning among themselves, saying, “If we say, ‘From heaven,’ He will say to us, ‘Then why did you not believe him?’ But if we say, ‘From men,’ we fear the people; for they all regard John as a prophet.” And answering Jesus, they said, “We do not know.” He also said to them, “Neither will I tell you by what authority I do these things.”

Parable of Two Sons
“But what do you think? A man had two sons, and he came to the first and said, ‘Son, go work today in the vineyard.’ And he answered, ‘I will not’; but afterward he regretted it and went.The man came to the second and said the same thing; and he answered, ‘I will, sir’; but he did not go. Parable of the Landowner

Again he sent another group of slaves larger than the first; and they did the same thing to them. But afterward he sent his son to them, saying, ‘They will respect my son.’ But when the vine-growers saw the son, they said among themselves, ‘This is the heir; come, let us kill him and seize his inheritance.’ They took him, and threw him out of the vineyard and killed him. This became the chief corner stone;

Therefore I say to you, the kingdom of God will be taken away from you and given to a people, producing the fruit of it. And he who falls on this stone will be broken to pieces; but on whomever it falls, it will scatter him like dust.” When the chief priests and the Pharisees heard His parables, they understood that He was speaking about them. When they sought to seize Him, they feared the people, because they considered Him to be a prophet.”

Parable of the Wedding Banquet

Go therefore to the main highways, and as many as you find there, invite to the wedding feast.’ Those slaves went out into the streets and gathered together all they found, both evil and good; and the wedding hall was filled with dinner guests. But when the king came in to look over the dinner guests, he saw a man there who was not dressed in wedding clothes, and he *said to him, ‘Friend, how did you come in here without wedding clothes?’ And the man was speechless. Then the king said to the servants, ‘Bind him hand and foot, and throw him into the outer darkness; in that place there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.’ For many are called, but few are chosen.”

Tribute to Caesar
“Then the Pharisees went and plotted together how they might trap Him in what He said. And they sent their disciples to Him, along with the Herodians, saying, “Teacher, we know that You are truthful and teach the way of God in truth, and defer to no one; for You are not partial to any. Tell us then, what do You think? Is it lawful to give a poll-tax to Caesar, or not?” But Jesus perceived their malice, and said, “Why are you testing Me, you hypocrites? Show Me the coin used for the poll-tax.” And they brought Him a denarius. And He said to them, “Whose likeness and inscription is this?” They *said to Him, “Caesar’s.” Then He said to them, “Then render to Caesar the things that are Caesar’s; and to God the things that are God’s.” And hearing this, they were amazed, and leaving Him, they went away.”

Jesus denounces the scribes and Pharisees (Matthew 23).
On the Mount of Olives, Jesus delivers the Olivet Discourse, prophesying the destruction of Jerusalem and his second coming (Matthew 24–25; Mark 13; Luke 21:5–36).

The Passover feast is tomorrow. Peter and John are sent to make preparations for what is later to be known as The Last Supper; the last time Jesus would eat and drink with his disciples before he dies.

Passover and The Betrayal
Jesus and the rest of the Disciples arrive at the upper room where the meal is to be served.
Jesus washes the Disciples feet and teaches them many things.
Jesus predicts his betrayal by Judas.
Jesus institutes the practice of communion with the breaking of bread and drinking of wine.
"When the hour had come, He reclined at the table, and the apostles with Him. And He said to them, “I have earnestly desired to eat this Passover with you before I suffer; for I say to you, I shall never again eat it until it is fulfilled in the kingdom of God.” And when He had taken a cup and given thanks, He said, “Take this and share it among yourselves; for I say to you, I will not drink of the fruit of the vine from now on until the kingdom of God comes.” And when He had taken some bread and given thanks, He broke it and gave it to them, saying, “This is My body which is given for you; do this in remembrance of Me.” And in the same way He took the cup after they had eaten, saying, “This cup which is poured out for you is the new covenant in My blood." Luke 22:14-20

After the meal Jesus and his Disciples travel to the Mount of Olives and He predicts his imminent death and resurrection.

Jesus and his Disciples arrive a the Garden of Gethsemane. While there, Jesus tells his Disciples “My soul is deeply grieved, to the point of death” and goes farther into the garden alone to pray to God about the events soon to occur.
After Jesus finishes praying and returns to His Disciples He is confronted by Judas Iscariot along with the Roman cohort and officers from the chief priests and the Pharisees.

Jesus is arrested and hauled away to be tried by the Sanhedrin in the dead of night…

The Trials of Jesus Christ:
(The first 3 trials were all for the offense of Blasphemy and judged by the Jews)
• First trial, before Annas [nighttime hours]; Annas is looking for an accusation, biding time till Sanhedrin is gathered at High Priestly villa.
• Second [and primary] trial before Sanhedrin, Jesus is condemned.
• Third trial, immediately at dawn: the condemnation repeated, then Jesus taken to Romans
(The last 3 trials were for the offense of Treason against Rome, because Blasphemy was not a capital offense under Roman Law, and judged by Roman Authorities)
• Fourth trial before Pilate
• Fifth trial before Herod
• Sixth trial before Pilate
•
The Crucifixion:
• Jesus is scourged, but this is not enough for the mob that the Sanhedrin had paid off, so the crowd yells, "Crucify Him or we will tell Rome!"
• Jesus is finally turned over to be crucified.
• Jesus mocked by Roman soldiers and a crown of thorns is forced into Jesus's head
• Jesus bears His cross to gate on north of city and is crucified around 9 am

Jesus Dies (about 3 pm):
• Roman Soldier pierces Jesus' side side with a spear to ensure that he is dead.
• The veil outside the Holy of Holies torn in two from the top to the bottom.
• The Earth Shakes
• Some graves opened and dead people rise again and go into the city.
• Passover lambs slain in temple

Jesus buried by sundown

Jesus had committed no crimes, had not sinned against God, and had followed all the rules of the old covenant. In short, He was perfect.
The Jewish priests of that time felt threatened by his teachings. They had tried to turn the public against Him many times in the past with no success. Finally they arrested Him in the dead of night, brought Him to a trial (in a way that violated their own rules) before a prejudiced court, and found Him guilty, all of this while the rest of the city slept. They then turned Him over to the Roman Authorities and threatened a revolt if he was not executed.
He was beaten, whipped raw, and forced to carry his own cross through the city and up the hill to Golgotha. There, His hands and feet were nailed to this wooden cross. It was then raised up for all to see. Jesus hung there between two other crucified men for about 6 hours, slowly weakening and suffocated to death.

The sky turned dark from about noon until 3 pm.
When Jesus finally did die:
• there was an earthquake
• the curtain separating the ark of the covenant in the Holy of Holies from the rest of the temple was torn completely in two
• many holy people who had previously died were raised to life and seen throughout the city by many people.

When all these things happened and were witnessed by the roman soldiers standing guard over those crucified on the hill of Golgotha "...they were terrified, and exclaimed, “Surely he was the Son of God!”" (Matthew 27:51)
Finally just before sundown Jesus's body was wrapped in linen cloth and laid to rest in a tomb. A large stone was rolled in front of the tomb's opening.

The man who claimed to be the Son of the God Most High, Maker of the Heavens and the Earth was dead.
Witnessed by hundreds if not thousands, verified with a spear through His side by the roman soldiers, and buried in donated grave,
Jesus was Dead...

Now, here are some of the illegalities of the Jewish trials.
1. If a man was arrested for a capital crime, he could never be arrested at night. It had to be in broad daylight. Jesus' arrest took place between 1 and 2 o'clock at night.
2. If a man was arrested for a capital crime, no one cooperating in the arrest could be in any way connected to the one who is accused. No arrest for a capital crime could be made based upon information given by a follower or colleague of the accused. Because they felt if the accused was guilty so were his followers. But the entire plot revolved around Judas, one of the followers. This law was blatantly and openly ignored.
3. No Jewish trial could ever be held at night. The law stated that it must be held in the daytime. Listen to the code, which is taken from the Talmud: “The members of the court may not alertly and intelligently hear the testimony against the accused during the hours of darkness.” But, if you check the record, both before Annas and before Caiaphas, these trials were held in darkness.
4. The members of the Jewish court, after hearing the testimony of true witnesses (none of which were ever brought before Jesus) in a capital crime, could not immediately act and judge. They were to go home and remain alone and separate from one another for two days (at the least, one full day), thinking about the testimonies they had heard. During that time, here's what they were to do. Here's the language of the code: “Eat like food, drink like wines, sleep well. And once again return and hear the testimony of the accused. Then, and only then, shall you render a vote.” They didn't do that. They Jewish court never left the presence of Caiaphas!
5. In fact, even the method of voting was specified! They never took an “all in favor say I, all opposed say no” kind of vote. Their vote was supposed to be taken from the youngest to the oldest so that the youngest wouldn't be intimidated or influenced by the older votes. This never happened.

No trial could be held before only one judge, and never without a defense attorney. All of that was overlooked, openly, willfully ignored and disobeyed. They didn't follow their own rules.

There has been no invasion of Iranian territory, no American boots on the ground in Tehran, and no congressional declaration of war. What America has carried out are targeted strikes against Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps assets, sanctions on the regime, and operations against the proxy militias Iran arms and directs. These are measured responses, not war.

→ Iran has run the exact same kind of conflict for more than 40 years, since the 1979 Islamic Revolution.

Iran provides material support, weapons, training, cash, and direction to terrorist groups and militias that actively attack and kill Americans. That is textbook proxy warfare. When the United States hits back at IRGC commanders, weapons factories, or proxy command nodes, it is simply responding in kind under the very rules Iran created. Self-defense is not aggression.

→ Fourth, the Houthis in Yemen.

Iran supplies them with advanced anti-ship #BallisticMissiles, #CruiseMissiles, and attack drones. Those weapons have been used since 2023 to strike US warships, commercial vessels, and Red Sea shipping lanes critical to global trade and American interests. US intelligence and naval reporting tie the technology, training, and direction straight back to #Tehran.

This Iranian strategy is not new. It began with the 1983 #BeirutBarracks bombing that killed 241 US Marines, executed by Hezbollah under IRGC guidance. Why Do We Sing, Lift Our Hands, Shout, Kneel, or Bow in Church?

There are two general reasons:
We do these things to show others and receive recognition from people.
We do these things to honor and praise God.

The first stems from a desire for human approval, which has no lasting value in God's eyes. The second flows from a heart devoted to Him—the kind of worship He seeks (John 4:23-24).When we do these things for the wrong reasons, they have no eternal value. They become like the Pharisees Jesus condemned: those who "love to stand and pray in the synagogues and on the street corners so that they may be seen by men. Truly I say to you, they have their reward in full." (Matthew 6:5). The fleeting approval of people is all they get—no heavenly reward.

When our focus is on God, the outcome is entirely different. These expressions help center our thoughts on:
Who God is in His nature and character,
What He has done (His mighty works and salvation),
What He commands us to do,
And the promises He has made to us.

We are reminded of His faithful love toward us—even when we rebelled—and we encourage one another by recalling our commitments to Him and the answered prayers we've seen.

In short, we express our joy and gratitude to God for who He is and what He has done.

It is not about us. It is about Him.

So when you praise and worship God, do not be afraid of what others will say. Do not worry about embarrassment or the pressure to conform. Consider King David. He "was dancing before the Lord with all his might, and David was wearing a linen ephod." So David and all the house of Israel were bringing up the ark "with shouting and the sound of the trumpet." This was despised by his wife Michal, who "looked out of the window and saw King David leaping and dancing before the Lord; and she despised him in her heart.

industry. I was looking at 10 years in federal prison for exposing live
dismemberment of uh babies uh that viable children that could survive
outside of the womb. Um locked up in DC um all of a sudden tried to be
extradited from DC to California being held on felony stalking charges uh for a
woman I'd never met. I uh exposed through Freedom Freedom of Information
Act requests uh the grizzly practice of fetal organ harvesting in our nation's
UC systems. Um exposed it to the world and for two years did a public
information kind of blast and they came after me with pretty much everything
they had. I uh am facing $50,000 in
fines and uh uh narrowly escaped a 4-year legal battle whereby they were uh
trying to lock me up to upper upwards of 10 years in federal prison for free speech expose, public uh information
blasts and letting the world know of uh babies being born alive in our uh
medical institutions. Yeah, we're talking that's the gist of it. [laughter] We're going to let you tell the whole
story and and I want this is the thing is that AJ's just one example of one guy. You're not even the only guy that's
this has happened to in recent years who's try to expose what's going on inside the abortion industry and then was met with intense lawfare, I think is
the popular term for it now, right? Where basically they're they're immorally trying to use the law to oppress you. I've seen people who are
outside just just calling out to women who are on their way to abortion clinic, hey, do you need any help? we can and
then getting arrested for it. So it it this is not like a gentle let's see if
we can change things in our culture on abortion nice and gently. It's a war.
This thing is is a war. And I think that as Christians we should be like let's let's fight this battle
and let's use whatever we can that that we can use under God, you know, and to do that with. So tell us from the beginning. Let's back
up. We'll go through it all in detail. You have a lot to share. Mostly AJ will be talking today, you guys. I brought him here because I met him when I was at
an event last year. Basically, he told me his whole story and I said, "Hey, can I can I please get you on? I want you to
tell this to everyone because it's insane that this isn't being carried by all the news media, if you ask me. It's crazy.
It's crazy. But but it really is entrenched. It is so entrenched. The abortion multi-billion dollar industry
is so entrenched and and it's evil and satanic and we should do whatever we can go in a godly way to
fight against it. So AJ, amen. Well, guide us through the journey. [laughter] Yeah, feel free to interrupt me along
the way and um you know, I would like to make it conversational if you have any questions or anything. I'd imagine if I
you have a question, the audience does too. But so a little bit of my background. So I I work with Seth
Gruber. I'm the national outreach director for the White Rose Resistance. I'm Southern California, mainly kind of
people around there, wildly popular, but becoming a movement across the nation. Super happy to be at the forefront of
that on the leadership team. But um so my name is AJ Hurley. I um grew up in
Southern California, went to the M's University, studied, got my education there. Uh became a respiratory
therapist. I grew up kind of in the medical field. I worked on the ambulance and then went back to school, became a
respiratory therapist, and then got my dream job at UCLA Medical Center putting little babies on ventilators. I uh never
in a million years thought I'd be doing that, but it was really cool. So, I like to say my my journey to the pro-life
movement was so unusual. It didn't start in a in a uh you know, at a rally or at
a a Seth Gruber speaking event. Um it started in the
halls of a sterile hospital. where I was essentially looking into a womb. Now, my wife always tells me I you
need to you need to clarify what you mean by that, AJ. Looking into a womb. What does that mean? What I mean by what
I [laughter] mean by that was this is um you know, I I was putting these little babies that should be on in a womb on my
life support breathing machine. And uh essentially these little babies
were valuable because we said there were they were and little children in another
area of the hospital kind of another building was the the area where the
abortion clinic was that I wasn't even aware of. Uh, babies way older than the ones I was saving, Mike, were being
lifelessly ripped apart, arms torn off their bodies, skulls crushed, and every
single day, this painful reality as a Christian man that I was doing nothing
about this wholesale genocide of image bearsers of God in the womb that they're
valuable. It was like this dichotomy, this hypocrisy that we're p putting
millions of dollars of resources into this little child in the name of health care
and babies way older in the same name of health care were being violently torn
apart. And the only difference between that baby over there and this baby there
is literally a fiat decision as to his mother as to which one was valuable. And
this baby was valuable just because we said they were. And if they weren't,
they were subject to die. So I started, this is so important. I want to encourage the audience as you're
watching right now, like don't please don't look away. I know that this this video and the content we're about to talk about, it's it it never does well
on YouTube, almost never to do any video on this kind of stuff. Um I know it's hard because there are people who watch who are even pro-life
who were like, I'm already on the same page as you. I just don't want to hear it. But what I want to encourage you guys with is we are the agents of change. if
we choose to be on this topic. We really are, you are, you can be an agent of change on this issue. And there's a ton
of different ways you can do that. But what we have to do is as a culture, we have to look long and hard at this. Like
Josiah's reforms that amazing reforms that happened in the Old Testament, the King Josiah, they find the book of the
law and then they went ahead and read it. And they sat there and read it and it it just exposed them like, "Oh my goodness, look at the evils we're doing.
We have so much wickedness in our culture." They literally were doing all the wicked things but weren't seeing it
clearly. What we're doing right now is trying to help people see it clearly. Okay, call this the reading of the book
of the law, right? Thou shalt not murder. This is this is the idea that we're made in God's image. We're reading these these things to us and then taking
a serious look at abortion in our culture, abortion, and the way the industry handles. And we'll talk later about the pro-life movement. We'll we
towards the end we'll get into that and the the debates you were bringing up with me privately about that. We'll talk about some of that. So, let's just get
into all of it and say, um, please Christians, watch this. Please Christians, care about this. This is
this is the Holocaust of our time, except that the numbers are far larger. This is way worse than probably any
atrocity you've ever read about in human history. And it's happening right now, and it's
considered a right and protected. And those who raise their voices are persecuted for it. So there's so many of
us that if we just take a long look at what's happening, we can we can raise up an army, a godly army to to come against
it. So AJ, please continue% but but thank you for sharing these things. Well, I I was one of those Christians
that just was like, I don't want to get involved in because this is political and then I was just more and more aware
that wait, hold on. If everything that's good and moral and decent and right and
we as Christians are called to fight against is labeled as political, Satan
lights up and says, "Oh, amazing. All I have to do is label everything that's godly as political and I can ensure the
silence of the church." Uh, and this was what I was gripped at. So I I'll never forget the day that that
I changed and as I was being convicted as these babies were rebuking me with 10
as the with the force of 10,000 armies um that I would I refused to be silent.
It was I literally went down to into the lunch counter and it was a huge department. We're eating lunch and the
head of my department walks in and something on the TV triggered her and she said, "I can't believe these
Republican men telling women what to do with their bodies." And the Holy Spirit was just tugging on me like, "Are you
are say something defend these children." She brought it up. It's not like you're getting political at the
lunch hour. and this long silence and the you could have heard a pin drop and
I said nothing and I went back in into the elevator went up to the fifth floor
[snorts] looked into a womb as I say and I just literally ran to the bathroom in
tears getting I got on my knees and said Lord today is the day I'm never being silent about this any longer and man my
life was transformed I got I started getting involved with the pro-life movement with a a an organization it's
called surv survivors of the abortion holocaust down in Southern California. And then I became aware of a guy named
David Deliden's work. David Deliden had did those expose videos of Planned Parenthood where he haggled the organs.
He he created a fictitious organization buying organs and he just recorded these
people selling the organs of children for research contracts. And I was just blown
away by this. And then I said, "Completely illegal. Completely illegal." And then I said,
"Is this happening at my hospital? What is going on?" So I we started foyer
requesting tons, hundreds of foyer requests for fetal organ um tissue logs and anything
having to do with Freedom of Information Act requests in reference to uh fetuses
and fetal research, fetal tissue. And what we got back was absolutely
unbelievable. I mean, fetal tissue logs, brother, lungs and livers and thymuses
and I mean, literally, I hate to be grotesque, but clitorises and penises of
six-mon gestational babies that they were grafting on lab rats for every type
of diabolical experimentation you can imagine. And this is all public information and
nobody was talking about this. So um we found out that the belly of the beast in
terms of uh fetal tissue research uh fetal explor exploration and e
experimentation was happening at the University of California San Francisco UCSF.
And so we just exposed it all. We had pictures of um intestines of children
hanging off of lab rats. And uh we did a 2-year, it's actually still ongoing, so
it's been about maybe six years now, but we did a 2-year um
public information campaign exposing it, standing on public property at UCSF with
huge signs with links to the Federal um information act FOYA uh transparency
documents. We and we're going to we're going to put some links down below when we're done here. You're going to send me some stuff.
Yeah. Yep. I have tons people can follow that up. Yeah. Lots of research. You guys, it'll be linked down below as well.
So, what we found got worse and worse. We actually found that through David Deliden's research that the way that
they were doing this in order to get viable tissue, they have to do it in
such a way that violates the Born Alive Inference Protection Act. And for all
intents and purposes, by every single amount of research available to us,
babies are being either born alive or they are violating the Born Alive
Infants Protection Acts and federal law. So, I could get into that, the specifics
of that if you want. I don't know if you want me to continue and just tell where you want to go from here, but it would
take about five minutes for me to explain how how that's even possible. Sure, we can do that. But let's let's
put it in context for everybody. Just so we know, like what they're doing is no matter how they're killing these humans,
it's evil and wrong and immoral. But what we can do is we can say, "Hey, at least as we're searching to to try to
stop things and put a stamp on things, we can use laws that are present to say, hey, you guys are even violating the
not enough laws that you put in place." Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. And you're even violating those things. It's to show that this is
this stuff is so depraved. I guarantee you these people go home and they sleep peacefully in their bed and they have no
conscience about it and they laugh at us for even thinking that it's a problem. The depravity and the conscience being
seared is so hard. It's just exactly what scripture says. God gave them over to a debased mind. And this issue of of
of killing of humans always wrong. What what what can we do except try to
get laws passed and then try to use whatever laws we have present to prosecute at least the violations of
those laws while we're seeking to uh change things in a bigger way. And we'll talk about that more as we go, but go
ahead and tell us and abortion is already wrong, but like what everybody should see as like
regardless even if you're pro-choice, they are doing this on viable children.
We have fetal tissue logs of sixmon gestational babies 24 weeks old. You
babies have survived outside of the weeks just over 20 weeks. I know one my friend's daughter. Yeah. Yeah. And so um they have to violate
these laws. And if I'm wrong on this, please sue me because I would love to
actually take you to discovery and and and show and prove to the world that
this is all happening. But um so how it works is second after the first
trimester there are two abortion procedures there's four total there's four ways to kill a baby uh through
abortion one the first two are happen in the first trimester the second late term
happen in the second and third so in order to kill a sec second trimester baby of uh the ones that we're getting
these tissue uh requests for you have to do what's called either a DNA dilation
and evacuation or a labor induction. Now, basically just for simplicity sake,
you dilate the the woman's cervix for two day for two days uh by inserting
something called laminer. It's a big big sponge makes a big gaping hole and then you either insert surgical instruments
and tear apart limb by limb or you just induce labor and you uh give birth to a
child. Now you ask, how does this baby not come out alive if you're doing an induction? If you're inducing labor in
delivering the child, well, they a day before they take a long needle through the woman's stomach and they gave a gave
a lethal dose of a drug called Dejoxin that stops the baby's heart. Now the
problem is if you need to um get these organs for fetal research that drug
nukes all of the stem cells of the tissues that you need for fetal organ research.
So how are so no money? So the the now if you do it through a disarticulation
with the first procedure the DNC, the only way to get viable tissue is to
change the abortion procedure and specifically alter it to where you
cannot damage the tissues that you want. The problem with that is it's a huge
violation of federal law, the Boralive Infants Protection Act. And um the
partial birth abortion ban says that you cannot alter the abortion procedure in
any way. And so either way, if you abide by the law, you cannot get at the end of
the process legal uh a legal way to acquire these organs.
So, we caught them red-handed in this um and rather than um change their
policies, I mean, we we went to every single level lever of power. We lobbyied
the the regents. We showed up at regency meetings and city council meetings, the
whole thing. Um bringing forth our research and they just would handwave it. So after two years of being there on
on public property with a sign and handing out tens of thousands of
literature pieces from the UC's, all of the hospitals around all of the
university uh medical buildings, uh the the university uh the colleges, they
started just illegally arresting me. So they would arrest me for trespassing
on public property and then the DA would just throw it out because I was on public property. So they arrested me
about eight times. They arrested my colleagues. They were just doing everything they can to make us go away
and have us not shed light on this. Um well what we did was um we kept on we
just did big protests. We got people on there causing a ruckus and and doing
prayer events. We did rallies, the whole deal. And the the Andy just started
getting elevated and elevated. They just wanted us to go away. Well, I don't know
if you guys remember, but there was this thing called uh justice for the five that happened. Do you do you know what
that is, Mike? Only a little bit. You should explain it. Okay. Yeah. So, um, we did a West Coast
tour hitting all these spots and an East Coast tour hitting all these spots. On the East Coast tour, I was in Washington
DC where two of my friends were outside of one of the abortion clinics
and they found a box of aborted children on its way to a medical waste facility.
They picked this box up and it was essentially given to them by the medical
waste driver who had transported them from the abortion clinic into his truck
and had no clue that he was picking up dead babies. Uh they convinced him to let a pastor
have these children and give them a burial. They open this box. There's 115 aborted
babies inside. Five of them were third trimester nearly full-term children and
they had overwhelming evidence of everything we're talking about. Born alive um abortions
um partial birth abortion um one of the babies was still in its amniotic sack.
Never before in 20 years had ever anybody ever seen this or knew that it was still happening. I mean, we knew it
was happening, but every, you know, the world just said, "Oh, that's a that's a,
you know, conspiracy theory that third trimester happens or they only happen if the moms, you know, dying." And, um, and
so, um, this became a huge news story because of the overwhelming evidence
that babies were being born alive. Um, and the thing is this is it's not just this is a random box.
This is a one random box of aborted Tens [clears throat] of thousands of boxes every day that are
picked up across the nation. One box in the last 20 years and this is what it
shows. Where was this? Where was this at? This was in Washington DC at the a Washington surgery center.
Surgery center, an abortionist named Cesari Santangelo. So this made national news. We turned
the babies over to the DCPD. Mayor Bowser and the head of the chief of police did a public uh press conference
and said nothing to see here. Uh you can kill a baby to the day birth in DC. So
no, you know, no investigation will be performed. No autopsies will be done. Go
away. And they would have ex they would have incinerated these babies. But Congress got involved. Marjorie Taylor
Green, uh, Anna Paulina Luna, Ted Cruz, a bunch of people said, "No, that this is murder and don't don't destroy this
evidence or we're going to come after you." Can I just say I think that part of the hubris that they have to do this
knowing that there's got to be so many people in the hospital on staff individuals who who know the parent the
mothers themselves who know that these procedures are happening that are not legal but they there's this sort of
you're you're what state are they in again? DC. Yeah. So they know it's it's not
nothing's going to happen here. They know the mayor's going to come out and be like don't worry we won't even investigate. We will not even
investigate to confirm the details of what happened. Guys, continue as you were. That's that's a dog whistle for
the rest of the the uh the abortion clinics. Keep doing business as usual. Absolutely. They even when you catch
these people red-handed with either our free foyer requests in UCSF or literally
held I mean I took photos and videos, Mike, of babies this big. Um with overwhelming evidence that they
had born alive. Every single one of these babies, Mike, could have survived at UCLA with little to zero medical help
at all. And I mean, babies can survive at that gestational age. The only reason why you need to kill them and not adopt
them is specifically because you want these children to be killed. Um, but I
mean, we saw that with David Deiden. He exposes this whole thing, gets video evidence of these people admitting it
over lunch, admitting it in public. And the only person who has ever prosecuted
is the man who exposed it themselves. It's insane. Absolutely insane. This is
this is highlevel organized government cover up 1,000%.
So huge national news story breaks forth.
All the photos and videos of these babies, Justice for the Five, you can look it up. Washington DC, Justice for
the Five, go everywhere. And all of a sudden, I get swooped up by the police
in DC. And they hold me in I I kid you not, brother, a a cage that was this
wide and about the length of my body for two days.
And I wish I was in solitary confinement because they put me in there with a liceridden schizophrenic man screaming
and maniacally laughing for 48 hours. Oh my gosh.
And they're trying to wear you down. They don't tell me why I'm being held.
They don't tell me what's going on. They don't tell me when I'm getting a bit out. And I'll tell you what, the
psychological effects it was it was so dark in there. You don't they don't tell you what time it is. So, I don't know
whether it's night or day, what when I'm getting out and just the psychological effects of not I I cannot imagine what
the J6ers went through for that for six months to a year or even longer. Um, but
it was just so traumatizing. So they put me in a bigger holding cell for about
six days and they finally bring me for a judge
and they start reading my charges. Mr. Hurley is a fugitive from justice
being held on felony stalking charges and list a whole litany of charges from
vandalism to um face act to um
trespassing, resisting arrest, all of these things. Um and I'm just like,
dude, you've got the wrong guy. This is must be some huge clerical error,
something. They they tried to extradite me from DC, put me in a bus all the way
s to um to San Francisco. Thank God the judge was like, "Dude, this guy has no
charges. He's never he's never been he's never been arrested before his life. He's got no convictions on his record.
Like, what are you trying to do?" Has mercy on me and lets me fly back the next day to turn myself in. They held me
six days there and I entered a 4-year legal battle
um on felony stalking charges for a woman I've never said two words to or
even met I met her once in my life in passing. And um all of a sudden this is
what I'm looking at. Up to 10 years in federal prison, up to $50,000 in charges and fines, which I'm still facing. and
um all for exposing babies born alive in DC and babies being
harvested in our federally taxf funded research projects at the University of
California, San Francisco. So that's that's that's the gist of it.
I mean I can go into more of I mean they they came to my house, they took all of my guns on red flag laws. um just strict
conditions of release. I had to call twice uh a week. Actually, initially, first for the first two years, it was
three times a week. Then they knock it down to two twice a week, letting him know where I'm at, what's going on, as
if I'm some, you know, mass murderer or something. Um all for standing up and
and exposing what these people are doing in secret. It's insane. It's absolutely insane.
you've got um all this going on. Is there do you get to hit back with like malicious prosecution or something like
that? So that so that how that works is um the answer is no. you have to beat all the
charges first. And um they know they have you by the you know what because
how it works in these liberal cities is they charge you with everything under the sun and then they say this. Okay,
you can either plead to X charges, which they were saying, "We want you to
be a felon, never be able to vote, never be able to own firearms again."
[clears throat] And um and then we'll let you plea to this. I'm I'm I'm like, "Plee a felony stalking? I didn't stalk anyone. What
are you talking about?" Um or they say, "Okay,
you can go to a jury trial in San Francisco on stalking an abortionist and
see how that goes for you." So, every single lawyer I'm looking at, I've consulted with, and plenty of them
independently say this, AJ, none of this makes any legal sense
whatsoever. They don't have a single shred of of of of to to convict you of this stuff, but
if you go to a jury trial in San Francisco, they will just basically
convict you for just being pro-life there. You have close to a 0% chance of
coming out without everyone was saying you're probably looking at least two years, probably three years in federal
prison when this is all done. this is what you're expecting to be the outcome of what's happening now.
So, thankfully, we shed massive light on this and after
a four-year legal battle, I took a plea deal of two two misdemeanors for zero
time. But that but until the 11th hour, none of them were saying they would
offer that. and we basically lawyered up to the hilt and we put as much of legal
pressure as possible with the best lawyers you could probably put on this, right? You're you're in a rare position
where you actually because things got so much media, you were able to get more support. You had a lot of people coming
behind you to support you, whereas the average person would just would have no recourse. They would have
they would just be in jail and what' you get in jail for and and be like, "I don't know. I don't I don't know. I I
I tried to say that the I showed evidence that these guys are breaking the laws and now I'm in jail because we have a corrupt system because we have
corrupt leaders because we have corrupt jurors that are are convinced that the
evidence doesn't matter that they don't want any laws guarding and protecting babies. They they just want abortion on
demand paid for by taxpayers happening as much as possible. There's the It
blows my mind that we live in a culture that actually has something called the shout your abortion campaign.
Yeah. That's celebrate you killing your own kid campaign. Totally.
Yeah. And and the fact of the matter is like how the system is worked is set up is, you know, all of these judges are
all appointed by either Obama, a Biden, all these people. And I mean, you saw
this at my plea hearing is I mean, I was just treated like an absolute piece of
trash. You know, this this abortionist goes on on the record saying that somehow she felt threatened for her
life. I don't know why. We've nothing never said anything but loving things to her, pleading the gospel to her. and you
know um but they if I was to go to a trial on this the how they how it works
is none of the justifications for what we did all the Freedom of Information Act requests none of that is a legal
defense none of that you can't they will say you can't bring any of that in court they I mean my friend uh uh was was
prosecuted under similar things and they said you can't even say the word abortion in your defense because it has
to be about the facts of the case and whether or not this or so a
justification of the rights or protections of pre-born is specifically barred from from court and they will
they will call you in contempt if you make it about any reasons or justifications for the legality of what
you were trying to to highlight that that sounds crazy that sounds
insane like that the jury would need to have that information to make a judgment wouldn't they anyway I don't know I'm
not a lawyer I just know morality that's wrong. [laughter] That's immoral. Okay. I don't know the
law. I know I know morality and that's immoral. And so so you because you you took a plea deal because the advice your
attorneys are saying you're you're going to you're going to lose because of they're going to bring you to San Francisco for this and you're going to get the San San Francisco people.
Um and um does that mean you you don't have the ability to like do something
about the malicious prosecution or whatever the right term for it is? Well, I I I would if I hadn't taken a
plea deal. how how it works is you you have to win all of the charges outright.
Um you have to beat those in court and then you can present that forward. But the the price is just too high. And
I think this is this is the right if there was a silver lining here, brother, it was this, you know, as when
I when I they put me in DC and I'm sitting in this this dungeon of tiny
cages. I was put on this bunk bed with no
mattress, no pillow. It's literally a sheet sheet metal sleeping on.
And like God is just I'm like to say that I wasn't afraid in that situation
to say that like I would totally be lying to you. I mean I my anxiety was through the roof and I had this
it was just like a crisis of conscience like AJ what are you doing here you are
you you know you had the six figure salary you had the dream job at UCLA
medical center you know you had the great place to live and the beautiful wife and the everything only to be
facing like you're sitt sitting in this tiny cell
picking lice out of your hair. Like surely God, this is not what you had envisioned for my life.
But what was amazing about that time was God, he didn't peel back all the
anxiety. It was still there. But what he showed me was something that was just profound.
It was that like, you know, James O'Keeffe has this classic line. He says,
"Everyone has a price, but if your price is not your life, then
you are for sale." And to me, it was like all the sudden
the secret to ending abortion was like right in front of me. We don't. It's abortion exists right now
in America not because we love babies too little,
but because we love our lives too much. We love our comfort too much.
And I'm sitting there and God is saying
if the price that you're willing to endure to end abortion
is not at least this and as much as your life if the co that literally the cost
of disciplehip is the cost to end abortion. And until
we recognize as Christians that the price that we should be willing
to pay, whether it be our jobs or our careers or our money or our time, our
treasure, our influence, if that doesn't reach the level of what
Jesus says, if anyone comes after me and wants to be my disciple and is not willing to go to
the cross for me, is not willing to die for me. He's not fit to be my disciple. And we understand that, Mike, when it if
if somebody puts a gun to your head and says, "Reject Christ or I'm going to kill
you." We understand that as the the sacrifice for disciplehip.
We quickly see that in a different category when
the price is how much are you willing to suffer to love the least of these? How
much are you willing to endure for the price to end this great great
demonic evil of child sacrifice in your land? What is your price?
And if the your price is not the cost of disciplehip, if you see it as anything else,
we will never end this evil. I would I would I think those are I
think there's a lot of wise words um and a good sober wakeup call. And I think there's another element to it for for
people which is we want to be guaranteed that when we pay a a price for something
that it's going to work. And I think there's an element where we have to go no you have to actually go in
pay the price and not know if it's going to work or not but know that what you did was worthy. It was a worthy act. I I
stepped out and I tried because there's so much defeatism that keeps people from even trying because they just think I just don't see how that's going to work.
I don't see how that's going to be successful. And I'm going, man, people who've changed the world in hindsight,
it's like they just bootstrapped the whole thing. You know, God used them in great ways. And it's not like you could have predicted this will work.
You couldn't have mostly. It's just it worked. And it it worked because not only they did it, but before them, lots
of other people tried and that ended up being the groundwork for transformation, but they never knew this for their whole
lives. They never knew it. And so I think that there's something healthy about going I will lay my life down for
godly causes to serve the Lord and I won't look back to to test the fruit
because because I that will only slow me down. I just need to march ahead and serve.
It's so good. I mean so one of the the talks that in our training for for white rose resistance we we talk about like
the three things that you need to do to change the world. This is a talk I give is like one you need to know the truth is Christ. you need to live the truth
and you need to die for the truth. And so the last thing is the thing that
nobody wants to do, you know, is we're willing if if we could, as you said, if
we could have this guarantee, you know, if if I said to anybody, any Christian
listening, I would you give up your life to if you could be guaranteed that
abortion would end? I'd imagine most people maybe would say yes to that, but
it's the unknown of will we labor and tarry and give our lives for something
that we will never ever maybe even see the fruit of. And I mean that's what Jesus says unless a grain of wheat falls
into the ground and dies and remains alone. And he t he says those two things dies and remains alone.
Those are two probably the two worst things. Maybe something worse than death is just abandonment.
Yeah. Well, I think it says if it unless it dies, it does remain alone. It will be
it won't produce fruit, right? It has to die to to, you know, multiply. Yeah. And and so the cost of
abandonment, the cost of dying to yourself, that is what it takes to to change the
world. I mean, that's what changed the world. and 12 ordinary bumbling fisherman idiots overthrew in three
centuries the Roman Empire through a peaceful revolution of sorts of just not
with strength of chariots and horses and swords and armor but with the message
that gives life of this second person of the Godhead who went through every
single stage of human development dignifying once and for all the embryionic stage,
the fetal stage of human development. Um that birth freedom and has echoes of
liberty and justice that reverberated into human history and ended slavery and
give gave um a dignity to women and ended abortion
and infanticide and there is no secret you know to changing
the world. It's right. It's through the gospel. It's through the gospel. Yeah. And it was it was Christians in
the early church who would um so Romans would take their you know this I'm sure would take their babies that they didn't
want and they would leave them out on the porch or on the street and then the dogs at night the would go through the
city and basically that was their their way of getting rid of the kids they didn't want. Yeah. And uh Christians would come and rescue
these children and raise them as their own and this was something that that that believers did. You know the dedicay had
one of the earliest extra biblical texts we have of new Christian of of from Christianity
is saying that you know we don't do this we don't expose our children like this is something Christians don't do we rescue them we don't expose them
and um and that's not the dedicay even talks about abortion it says like litally starts off there is
two paths to life one of life and one of death thou shalt not kill a uh kill a
child from abortion or destroy that which has already been generated and St.
Basil in the 4th century used his power and influence to make abortion a crime
throughout the Roman Empire. And it he literally says uh she who delivers uh uh
deliberately destroys a fetus uh is shall be guilty of the crime of murder along with those who give her the
abortacient poisons. So it wasn't this thing just merely of of babies with
infanticide outside of of the womb on high places being exposed to the
elements. It was also because they understood something. The incarnation
shatters every single demonic ideology that dehumanizes what's in the womb.
Because abortion is literally a a christoologgical heresy because it would
assert that at some point God was fully human but not a divine person. So this
is one thing I love to to ask pro-choice Christians if you could even uh call
them that is I say well you believe in the trinity right? Like you believe that Christ is fully divine. Well, at what
point of of Christ's human life did he become a divine person? And you're put
in this really big quagmire because that would violate the hypothatic union, right? Jesus was fully divine from the
single second that he became a human being. It took upon human flesh and there was no point in his life that he
wasn't that second person, divine person, a god man in the womb.
Yeah. Amen. I mean, yeah. in the IMO day and there's so many theological principles that just make this very
plain and clear. Um what we have though is we have questions
that remain like what do Christians do? What are the most effective ways of actually bringing change in the culture?
Um what what is like the marching orders for how we can over the next whether
it's 10 years or 50 years or 100 years change everything and put a stop to it. And you you know you guys spend more
time thinking about this than I do. What do you think? Well, I love this question because I always I always say there's a biblical
middle ground and then there's ditches on either side of the road. Um, so on
one side of the the ditch is this kind of social gospel or liberation theology
where it says essentially clean up society, you know, put a band-aid on
everything, make people really moral. And that's the call of Christians, right? is is this li Christianity is
just this liberating force that just is a social kind of cleansing apparatus
where we clean everybody is up their lives and give this Christless redemption.
On the other side of the ditch is something you and I grew up in Calvary Chapel and the Harvest Crusade and the
whole thing which tends I love love the movement but I think what I heard growing up was like we don't get
involved in the politics. We just preach the gospel. Um so it's like as if the gospel didn't have to do with uh loving
your neighbor. if the gospel didn't have to do with like issues in society that
intersect with with laws and and legal things that dehumanize the the the human
person. And so I think the biblical ground is is Christ not only the gospel
but in the great commission and it starts with all authority in heaven and earth has been given to me. Therefore uh
go and preach the gospel. And when I do, I I the gospel affects every single area
of life, right? So if if I meet a guy on the street and I say and he tells me um
he's been sleeping with his girlfriend, uh well, I I tell him, "Hey, that's
wrong. That's something that God has explicitly forbid that separates you from God. Be reconciled to God. repent
of those things [snorts] and come to Christ and he will regenerate you, give you a new heart and everything in your
life is transformed. We understand that in a personal
capacity of personal sin but uh for some reason we don't make those like is is
just like suddenly if abortion is in view that those aren't things that the
gospel is touches you know and so it's huge obviously if yeah there's
there's no reason in any way shape or form for Christians to seed any ground
or or any any like authority to speak to the topic of abortion. We're we're to cry out for the oppressed. True religion
is what? It's helping the weak, right? The fatherless, the the the the orphans, the widows.
The these are the people you you you help out. And how much does a a child need to be helped when
their own mother is trying to get them killed? When when doctors [clears throat] in government are colluding against them to get them
killed? I mean, the Egyptian midwives are lauded in scripture for the same
reason that I would applaud anybody, even if it's messy, and they're getting involved in in in pro-life causes and
trying to help and make a difference and make a change. And I'd be like, you guys are you guys are reaching out to save the ones who are about to be destroyed.
Yeah. This is a beautiful and good thing. Yeah. And so, I mean, there have been pro-life organizations that I know of
that will make people sign a statement saying, "I will not use the gospel." And it's like, what are you talking about? I
mean, what were Who who makes what organizations make people sign those statements? Oh, man. I don't want to put them on
blast publicly. Um, I do. [laughter] Hey, man, you're making people sign it.
What are you talking about? I know. I know. I know. Um, they have since softened some of their stance on
that. I want to be very careful because I work with these people. Um, tell them that they need to stop or
[laughter] maybe I'll I'll put them on blast before he does that. But, um, but it's like you're you're
destroying The one force that can actually change a
human heart. I mean, what we're what I'm experiencing all the time on college campuses is more and more as society is
being degenerated, young people are s they know what's in the womb. It's not
like 50 years ago when people said, "Oh, if wombs had windows and if people just saw a 5D ultrasound, they would all
they'd be pro-life. We could just convince them of the science that human beings are human beings in the womb.
They all know it's a human being. Now, majority, most of the the young people on college campuses I talk to, they're
like, "No, I know it's a human. It's not a person yet." And so, at that point,
what do you do when they agree with you that the science
confirms exactly what you've been saying, but they just say, "I I think we should just have the choice to be able
to kill it." Because this is what Bill Maher said a few a number of years ago. Yeah. He was like, "Let's just be honest. We
know this is a baby. We just think it's okay to kill it." Yep. He just he said he said, "I I know
it's murder. I'm just okay with that." So AJ, you're on a college campus.
You have a student come up to you and they say that and they they What What do
you say? And is there anything that like that changes their mind that you find useful?
all pro-life talk goes out the window and now now we are having and I'm I
don't know I what I I I love the presuppositional model model of apologetics
it it's like okay let's talk about morality let's talk about truth what is your epistemic justification for for
morality even in your worldview and then just breaking them down helping them see
that all truth belongs to God all morality if you if you reject God you
have no basis for these things because morality is just a societal convention and it's a gospel conversation. And I I
I think it's such a shame that that Christians have kind of divorced these
political issues because the the the success of Charlie Kirk and why we're
seeing a mini revival take place among young men right now is because he went
into the public square in an area that the church had essentially abandoned for
so long in this area of politics. But politics now is like core identity. Who
am I? Like what what what am I? Like what is the meaning of life? You know
what is my core identity? Am I trans? Am I this? Am I homosexual? Am I that? And
the world is offering solutions to these that are hotly political issues. And
this is the place where Christians need to be championing the dignity and and
the humanity and the ontology of the human person. giving people a worldview
that is so much greater than this reductionistic kind of um nihilistic materialism that
is being pushed on upon them in college campuses now. This is the place the darkest places of
America where the church needs to engage and that yeah there's so we could talk
about that for a lot a long time but I want to I want to target something that you brought up earlier. So, I'm genuinely, and I'll tell this to the
audience, guys, I don't know the details here, okay? I don't know if if I'll even fully agree with whatever AJ says here.
I'm probably not qualified to weigh in yet. So, I but I want him to give him a chance as someone who knows more about
it than I do to just kind of talk about it. Um, the issue of the internal
disagreements that are inside the pro-life movement. Yeah. Um, now I'm aware that there's like the
abolitionist and there's different camps of abolitionists and I'm aware and I don't want to get too into the weeds on this because it's
just it's but one thing you brought up to me privately. We were talking is that there are some pro-life organizations
that will actively seek to stop legislation from being passed which would protect
kids in the womb, babies in the womb. Can you explain that to us? Yes. So, um, let me just briefly break
down the the the the definitions of these groups. Okay. The the far end, I would consider myself an abolitionist.
Uh, I want to abolish abortion. So, if that and I think it should be a crime for anybody who kills a child. So, if that makes me an abolitionist, sign me
up. I'm not married to the term. I'm not going to If that's all abolitionism is, I'm I'm signed up, too. 100%. Although, I know
there's people who use the term and they mean other things that I don't I don't hold. Yeah. So what they mean by that and they
wouldn't consider me an abolitionist is because I will I will accept incremental progress along the way provided it's
actually and truly the best we can get. So if I can get a heartbeat pass in heartbeat bill passed in California,

The default condition is not non- participation. There is not even the ability to opt out. A contract is void of not entered into willingly and without coercion. Also, you can not be born into a contractual obligation. The whole slavery debate answered that question.

Now, if you accept the terms of this "contract", then I guess it is binding for you. If you become a citizen of a country and this is explicitly stated as a condition of acceptance, then it would be binding to you. It would not be binding on your child though.

This is leaving out the whole discussion of the terms of said "contract". That is a different discussion.

"Not every military bombing campaign leads to a wider war, and not every regime change is guaranteed to be the catastrophe that Iraq or Libya was, but it does always creates a risk of that.

An entire world war was started over one political assassination. Countless catastrophic wars have started with limited engagement. When you start dropping bombs and killing people and toppling governments, you inherently risk unintended consequence and unavoidable escalation.

The big knock (or the only one they can come up with) on me and the non-interventionist right more broadly, is that we overreacted to this threat of the 12 day war and are doing the same now.

But, how on earth after the last 25 years and the last 7 disastrous wars can you NOT be concerned about that threat?

When you bomb a country who hasn’t attacked you or you topple the leader of a nation the risk of getting into a bloody and costly war is real. It is absolutely an unacceptable risk to take and I genuinely don’t understand how anyone who loves this country would accept it.

I don’t think this is going to be another Iraq or Afghanistan. My guess is it won’t be Libya either. But the possibility of a catastrophe is not zero and there’s a good chance this will make things worse.

No wise leader would take this risk to his own country for such an unnecessary regime change."

I think maybe you are reacting to the tying together of faith and politics.

I agree with everything he said. I don't think clergy should run for office, they have a much higher calling. I do think, however, that men of faith should be encouraged to seek those same offices. Our country is (supposed to be) ultimately governed by the laws we have. If we abdicate our responsibility to enact said laws to people who are ungodly, then the body of law will shift (has shifted) to reflect their ungodly "values".

This is not to say that I agree or disagree with the form of government in any particular region. I think this is universally true.

TAKE UP YOUR CROSS

Becoming a Christian will not make your life easier. It will not get you special benefits from your coworkers. You will not benefit financially from it. You will not be rewarded in any way in this life for becoming a follower of Christ. That is not why you become His follower.

Once you understand that He is GOD, how can you do anything other than bow at his feet?
Once you understand the depth of His love for you, how can you willingly break His heart again?
Once you understand how much He sacrificed for you, how can you hold back what you have from Him?
Once you realize that He gave up His life for you, how can you offer anything less than your own?

Being a Christian is not a part time commitment, it is an all-in kind of life. The rules we live by do not make sense to the rest of the world. They consider us fools for believing nonsense. Indeed, if what we believe is not true then we deserve the ridicule.

" and if Christ has not been raised, then our preaching is vain, your faith also is vain. Moreover we are even found to be false witnesses of God, because we testified against God that He raised Christ, whom He did not raise, if in fact the dead are not raised. For if the dead are not raised, not even Christ has been raised; and if Christ has not been raised, your faith is worthless; you are still in your sins. Then those also who have fallen asleep in Christ have perished. If we have hoped in Christ in this life only, we are of all men most to be pitied." I Corinthians 14:14-19

In light of all of this, we must be sure of our faith. It is a life altering commitment when taken seriously. There will be consequences. Jesus said:

"If anyone wishes to come after Me, he must deny himself, and take up his cross daily and follow Me." Luke 9:23

These were not idle words. The people listening would have understood exactly what he was saying. In the Roman Empire, crucifixion was common. The people listening knew that when someone carried a cross, they were on their way to be executed in a horrible way. They were forced to carry the very instrument of their own death. It was a walk of hopeless shame.

Jesus told his followers to expect to be treated like criminals condemned to death. He said they needed to treat every day like it was their last day on Earth. The fate of many of the believers of that time and almost all the Apostles would illustrate this expectation in gory detail. They were killed in the most horrific ways know to man. At this time, when you became a Christian it was more than just something you mostly believed. It was willingly accepting a death sentence as a possibility. We are not promised an easy life; quite the contrary. We are told to expect hardship.

“Remember the word that I said to you, ‘A slave is not greater than his master.’ If they persecuted Me, they will persecute you as well...” John 15:20

“These things I have spoken to you so that in Me you may have peace. In the world you have tribulation, but take courage; I have overcome the world.” John 16:33

“Indeed, all who want to live in a godly way in Christ Jesus will be persecuted.” II Timothy 3:12

“strengthening the souls of the disciples, exhorting them to continue in the faith, and saying, ‘It is through many tribulations that we must enter the kingdom of God.’” Acts 14:22

“Beloved, do not be surprised at the fiery ordeal among you, which comes upon you for your testing, as though something strange were happening to you; but to the degree that you share the sufferings of Christ, keep on rejoicing, so that at the revelation of His glory you may also rejoice and be overjoyed.” I Peter 4:12-13

Don't make the mistake of thinking you can have all the benefits of the faith without experiencing the costs. If that is what you want, then you are in the wrong place. If that is what you are currently experiencing, then you should ask yourself some hard questions. Satan attacks the children of God. He is our enemy and always seeking ways to destroy us. If he is not attacking you, then you must ask why. Are you a threat to him? Are you living for God? Are you taking your faith seriously? Were you honest in your commitment to follow Jesus?

“Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but the one who does the will of My Father who is in heaven will enter. Many will say to Me on that day, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in Your name, and in Your name cast out demons, and in Your name perform many miracles?’ And then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you; DEPART FROM ME, YOU WHO PRACTICE LAWLESSNESS.’” Matthew 7:21-23

There are those who act a certain way thinking that is what it takes to get into Heaven. They will be surprised when the time comes to stand before the judgement seat of God. What will they say in their defense? Our actions do not buy our entry into Heaven. Rather, our actions are a byproduct of our adoption into the family of Christ. The only defense we will have on that day is the forgiveness Jesus offers to us. If we accepted it, then we are in.

Live your life for Christ.
He is worthy of everything we could ever do.
He is worthy of all praise.
He alone is worthy.

What schools are you talking about? Religion is poorly taught in government schools because governments want to share is away from God. Religion is purely taught in some "Christian" schools based on their denominational flavor.

Most schools teach based on the intellectual level and academic interest of their students. These are both found to be severely lacking in western countries in my experience.
