However, statistically speaking, the abuse of the #UK welfare system is minimal.

Abuse is euphemistically grouped into what they call 'Overpayments'. It is 3.3%.

Most likely, the majority of these 'Overpayments' are not abuse but due to administrative issues. In addition, there is 0.4% of 'Underpayment'.

That means 97% of the welfare arrives exactly at the people it is intended for.

I am not afraid that all that AI collecting information will result in a drone strike on me, but I am afraid that systems such as those from Palentir will prevent me from entering the USA by overzealous customs agents who feel that posts such as this are against the US's interest.

I was asked to speak at a conference there next month, but I doubt if in the current political climate I will accept that invitation. Even though going would be a wise move for my company to go.

Transition is a long and difficult process. During that time, people inside that process are deeply emotionally affected while they prepare for a life that fits them more.

They do not want to stand out. Most of them hate drawing attention and therefore try to fit in as much as possible when they are among women.

The current wealth in the hands of a few is ridiculous and horrendous, and an example of capitalism really gone wrong.

Money that should go to education, health care, and infrastructure in the hands of a few.

I strongly disagree with stating that people are poor because of the comparison with the rich.

Unhappiness comes largely from our obsession with comparing ourselves with other people.

Whether I am poor or not should depend on whether I can meet my family's daily requirements; it should not depend on how much my neighbour owns.

This focus on wanting to have at least as much as the other destroys the world—a never-ending cycle of more, more, more.

The definition of wealth varies. To me, somebody who doesn't have to live from paycheck to paycheck and can afford a house and family expenses is wealthy.

Under my definition, more people could be wealthy if they kept their expenses down.

Wealth, to me, is not how much you own but how much freedom you have with what you earn.

The wealth that some people have acquired over the last three decades is both horrendous and wasteful.

That is all money they cannot use themselves, and that could have been used for the greater good.

Instead, we reduced regulation to allow, for example, companies to pay wages so low that people still need food stamps to survive. To say capital is worth more than labour.

But capitalism has also spurred a world of innovation, which has resulted in better health care, better food security, and fewer wars than ever before.
