Oh absolutely agree. we have found ourselves yelling at the screen "WHAT ARE YOU DOING???!!!" on many of his prior videos, to the point we stopped watching.

But, again, see this for what it is: a sign that Free Software platforms seem to be finally breaking out of the the über-technical niche and into the hands of the general public. We need this and the general public needs this.

For too long the public has been captive of proprietary, privacy-invading, abusive companies.

For those questioning the use of systemd in KDE Linux, it's fine. It is a fine framework on which we can build a distro, and the systemd folks are quick to correct errors.

Those pesky bugs? Well, these things happen. It's just unfortunate that two colliding bugs happened at the same time. That is why we have alpha, beta, and release candidates before we are confident enough to release a production version.

How do you mean? KDE is a true community and many of us know each other online and offline. We meet at sprints, events, meetups and Akademy. Nobody hides from anybody or anything like that. We also know who has short hair, who sports a goatee, and who favours colourful sandals, if you're interested.

Turns out there is a sizeable number of core devs that happen to be trans and are pushing KDE projects forward. It is just how it is 🤷 .

Right click on your menu launcher and choose "Configure Application Launcher".

Click on the button with the current icon in the dialog that opens. You will be given the option to "Choose..." a new icon.
