If I had to describe Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart I'd probably say it's a fun little battle of chaos. Which is a good thing for a game like this, funny, somewhat hard but not too much and definitely not repetitive.

It's a lot of fun, for kids and ever not-so-much-kids. Go check it out, now!

I'm not a huge fan of the previous games but I must say that this episode mixed exploration moments and action scenes quite well.

Well I'm surprised there's actual tomb raiding in it. I guess this will add to the action-movie feelings I'm currently experiencing and will be useful for taking a break in all the pew-pew they added to the game.

I've played only for a few hours (maybe even less) but there's a good pathos in this episode and I may stick to it 'til the end.

Oh, needless to say if you know me, but I can't do stealth in this game either, so Lara will have to be an angel of vengeance and the most brutal killer ever 😅

Last night I started playing Tomb Raider (The reboot? The new Lara-verse? The one without the huge poligonal boobs) on the Deck and while the puzzle part of the tutorial was definitely interesting, the button mashing mechanic wasn't (i.e. press alternatively RT/LT to climb, oh wait press left to avoid a falling boulder) wasn't. I'm getting old and my reflexes aren't what they used to be, which means I'll fuck up a lot in that game.

I'll stick to it a little more and see if it will keep going with those mechanics or will ease into something more old-gamer friendly.

Another thing I don't like: I have the game on EGS, which means that the Deck fans will be constantly spinning. Meh.
Is there a way to close the EGS launcher when the game is running?

Starting the day after a not-so-great night. We received a phone call in the middle of the night for a medical emergency (that luckily turned out to be not an emergency, whev) and all the ruckus flared an anxiety attack for my wife.

She's always been blamed by her family for these attacks and I know she tries to endure them without telling anyone, but when I catch a sign I'd rather tell her it's ok and hug her. And if it happens during the night, I'll sleep with an eye open just in case.

Whew, I'm off for the last mission on Dishonored and I must say that when I dropped all the pretense of being stealthy and not killing everyone, the game suddenly changed. For the better.

Yes, I *tried* to be stealthy but I made sure no one was around Corvo to tell the tale where he failed. And I felt less frustrated in the process.

I also need to learn to save and load more often, there's no shame in that.
I'm an old school gamer, back in the days we had limited save points (and don't get me started in limited save storage too)

I decided to give Dishonored another chance, after all the frustation for being **so bad** at stealth games.

This playthrough, I chose the only stealth approach I can muster: the leave no witnesses way.

Aside from piles of corpses, there's literally NOBODY around me. And I can get all stealthy 👀. Am I doing it right?

I'm also uninstalling X4, because...it's a great game and brimming with life. Too much life.

My choice about space sandbox is and will ever be Elite Dangerous, mostly because most of the dame it's just you and your ship, alone, in the middle of effin' nowhere.

X4 feels too inhabitated.
Again, great game.

I need to consult my dietist to see if I could go vegan without hazard/pain with the chronic health issues I have.

TL;DR; I can't process stuff in a list of vegetables, legumes, meat, alcohol, etc.
Fortunately not all vegetables and not all legumes, but 99% of meat and 100% alcohol is poisonous to me, and that's why (plus a conscious choice) made me go vegetarian long time ago :)

I'm super tempted by the utensils, although I'm more of a dwarf and I'd go for stone instead of wood (bonus: working out lifting plates while cooking). I'll give some more thoughts
