Our BCH meetups aren't only gatherings. They are mind open as people start to notice that besides the government currency there's one that actually protect them.

We’re raising 1 BCH for our next meetup — and every bit goes directly into onboarding new users and growing real Bitcoin Cash adoption in Mozambique.
Just like we did last month, this month we are once again pushing toward that goal to make our next BCH meetup possible.
Right now, we still don’t have a solid infrastructure to fully support the growing number of people attending, the materials needed, or the ability to invest properly in merch and promotional items that give BCH a strong presence locally.
We need essential materials like banners (the one I have is already worn out and needs replacing), BCH shirts, caps, keychains, and more. These are given out for free to attendees to attract and engage them. Over time, as adoption grows, the plan is for people to start purchasing these items using BCH they earn and use — building a real circular economy.
This is a long-term vision. And it requires consistency, hard work, and persistence.
I could run a one-time fundraiser — but that’s not the point.
This is about monthly community support, where the global BCH community stands behind real adoption happening on the ground.
We’ve already proven this works:
3 successful meetups completed — real people onboarded, real usage happening.
Now we’re heading toward the 4th meetup on April 25.
In March, we reached half of the goal — and still delivered results.

One week on BCHNostr and I already in love the app. I am content creator and I want to use social media that gives me freedom to write about what I love without fear to get me suspended like on X with all their rules.
BCHnostr is coming good and more people will come in next days. Today I saw Steve, yesterday I saw Cashdragon and Monsterbitar. More prominent BCH people will be here for sure and using the app the way it should: free, no counterparts, no fear to post and elevating BCH!

When I say our BCH ecosystem is "on full power mode" I mean it. There are more tools, products, apps and lot more being built on the ecosystem in the latest years that can envy anyone in the cryptosphere.
Ian Blas released another open source toolkit that is focused on defending Bitcoin cash using AI agents.

We did it.
On Saturday, March 28 we realized our 3rd Meetup and the BCH movement is growing up in Matola. More than 10 people attended the event and we talk about BCH, installed some Paytaca wallets and some people get hands on BCH for the first time thanks to the Cashstamps we shared with our audience.
We are not stopping and the next one is programmed to April.

From Content Creator to BCH Ambassador: My Journey Building Bitcoin Cash in Mozambique.
Yesterday when I joined BCHNostr, I didn’t properly introduce myself — so here it goes.
My name is alberdioni8406, a name known in writing circles as a Bitcoin Cash content creator, and now as an ambassador and educator for Bitcoin Cash in my country.
I started creating content back in 2018, but it was in 2019 that my attention turned fully to BCH, when a dear friend introduced me to the platform https://read.cash/@alberdioni8406 — where I still actively write to this day.
Since then, I’ve written over 1,000 articles about BCH, not only on read.cash but also on Publish0x, Bastyon, Free2z, Substack, and many other platforms. Today, I continue writing, but I’m also very active on X, where I share my posts and the work I do on the ground promoting Bitcoin Cash.
I am Mozambican, and in my country — and in the places I live — people call me “the Bitcoin Cash guy.” It’s a nickname I earned by representing BCH in my local community.
Since joining the BCH community, I have never stopped spreading the word. And I’m proud of that, because honestly, the world needs a currency that works — both globally and locally — without making people feel the burden of high costs when making payments or sending money to family and friends.
It’s fair to say that in Mozambique, Bitcoin Cash has a dedicated ambassador. Wherever I go, I onboard people into the BCH ecosystem. My goal is to build a community that lives through a circular economy powered by Bitcoin Cash.
It’s not easy, but step by step, I will get there.
I’ve already started with transportation, where people can pay using BCH for local rides — a project called CHAPA BCH Mozambique.
This project is very close to my heart. I believe in it because it makes BCH visible and usable every day. It acts like a moving billboard with bold letters: “CHAPA BCH Mozambique.”
Unfortunately, heavy rains and poor road conditions have affected the business, but I continue working hard to get everything running at full capacity again and to raise BCH whenever possible.
Right now, I am fully committed to both CHAPA BCH Mozambique and organizing BCH meetups. Tomorrow, March 28, I will host another meetup in Matola — the third one since I started organizing these events.
For now, I’ll stop here with this long introduction and hope that everyone understands I’m not new to this space. I’ve been in the BCH community for 8 years, and I’ve built a reputation and respect that I’m proud of.
And for those who are not yet using BCH, here’s my advice:
Once you start using it, you won’t stop.
Because it is Bitcoin in its real form — on-chain, low fees, fast confirmations, perfect for payments, instant tips, freelancers, content creators, and supporting causes that matter.

$22 Billion Lost — Why Financial Freedom Can’t Be Trusted to Governments.
Mozambique faced one of the biggest financial scandals of the last century, where over $22 billion disappeared — and to this day, no one truly knows where it went. There was a highly publicized trial, and several figures were arrested, but the majority of the money was never recovered.
People like the son of former president Guebuza were imprisoned, along with the head of Mozambique’s intelligence services and his wife, among others. Yet the money itself was never fully traced, and it’s unlikely it ever will be. The entire scheme was carefully designed for that outcome.
This only reinforced my belief that money, as it exists today, can be one of the greatest tools for abuse — and that governments are often at the center of these failures.
To make it worse, those billions never even entered Mozambique.
Through contracts and external deals, the funds were “injected” on paper, while those leading the negotiations and their partners delivered one of the biggest financial betrayals to the Mozambican people.
This is one of the reasons why I advocate for Bitcoin Cash. When people use and protect their own BCH, they are no longer trapped in systems of debt and control.
Governments will always print money, and people will keep paying through taxes and inflation — a legalized form of exploitation that has been happening for a long time. The population continues to suffer under fiat systems, with little chance of escaping that cycle.
Our meetups aim to change that.
Step by step, we are helping people understand why using Bitcoin Cash matters — so they can take control of their future, and the future of their children.
This is why Bitcoin Cash matters.
Not as speculation, but as a tool for freedom, ownership, and responsibility.
