Why am I inviting you to participate in Bitcoin Mastermind 2026? My first reason

Two years ago, I fell down the Bitcoin rabbit hole. Very quickly, I understood one thing: There is a huge amount to learn… and alone, it can take years.

But with the right network and the right method, you can dramatically accelerate your progress.
That's what motivated me to participate in the very first French-language Bitcoin conference: Bitcoin Mastermind.
My very first Bitcoin conference. And, without realizing it, one of the smartest decisions of my career.

There, I met:
-Bitcoiners who are already building, -entrepreneurs,
-curious individuals,
and above all… opportunities for collaboration.

I also discovered major players in Bitcoin education like Plan B Network and Btrust.

But the most striking thing?
👉 I didn't just leave with knowledge.
👉 I left with connections.
👉 And real collaborations.

I'm going back this year. And I sincerely hope you'll join me.

Tickets are on sale now. Get your PASS.

https://btcmastermind.xyz/tickets

See you down the deep Bitcoin rabbit hole. 🐇🧡

📸: #BMM2024

Day 30: Write and share five things you've learned from this challenge.

Hi everyone! I hope you're all doing well. A month ago, I came across @Confortdavidee's tweet announcing their participation in the #AprilChallenge organized by @BitKwa.

So, I decided to join the adventure. Over the past month, I've learned several things, five of which I'm going to share with you.

1) You never stop learning. Bitcoin is a recent technology that's evolving rapidly. It's therefore essential to stay informed.
With this in mind, Bitcoin Benin organizes two meetings per month: a meeting and a Bitdevs session. If you're in Benin, join us for the upcoming sessions.

In this spirit of learning, @africanbitcoiners is launching its first cohort of the Bitcoin Africa Academy.
Here's the link to participate: https://bitcoiners.africa/academie-bitcoin-afrique/

2) Bitcoin is a decentralized, censorship-resistant network powered by the currency bitcoin.

3) Forks will eventually disappear, but Bitcoin will last a long time. So, choose your investments wisely.

4) No one can stop Bitcoin.

5) We change Bitcoin more than we change them. Here are five lessons I learned during this challenge that I want to share with you.

Thank you to @BitKwa for this initiative.
Thank you to everyone who liked my posts.
A special thank you to @ProfEduStream who liked my posts from beginning to end.

Thank you to everyone who skips my posts. Thank you to my Bitcoin Benin community.

#AprilChallenge #KeepLearningBitcoin #KeepSharing #KeepGrowing

Day 23: What can we say about the Lightning Network?

What if you could send bitcoins to the other side of the world in less than a second for just a few cents?

That's exactly what the Lightning Network makes possible.

The Lightning Network is a Layer 2 payment channel network built on top of the Bitcoin network. It aims to enable instant and, above all, low-cost transactions.

As you already know, it takes about 10 minutes for a Bitcoin transaction to be confirmed on the blockchain.

This isn't very convenient when you want to pay for a coffee, settle a bill, or send money quickly. Furthermore, fees can become very high during periods of high network activity. That's precisely where the Lightning Network comes in.

The Lightning Network transforms Bitcoin into a fast, accessible, and borderless everyday payment tool.

To learn more, I recommend watching this video 👇 https://youtu.be/hHz-ALx8D9w?si=52bj9FGtay0zXNJo

See you tomorrow for the next challenge.

#AprilChallenge #KeepLearningBitcoin #KeepSharing #KeepGrowing

Day 21: What can be said about Bitcoin's security?

Bitcoin is a combination of several carefully assembled cryptographic technologies.
It's a network where everyone can see all transactions, but no one can modify or delete them. And since no one controls Bitcoin, no state can shut down or destroy the network.

On the Bitcoin network, transactions are pseudonymous. This means that everyone can see what an address contains, but no one knows who it actually belongs to unless you reveal it yourself.
Everyone can see what you own through your public key, but no one can access it. Only you have access to it using your private key.

Are you wondering if someone can guess or hack your private key?
The answer is simply NO.

Your private key is based on a 256-bit number. The number of possible combinations to find your private key is greater than the number of atoms in the observable universe.

Even if you gathered all the most powerful computers in the world, they still wouldn't be able to guess it, even in billions of years.

The only way someone can access your private key is if you've shown it to them, either intentionally or carelessly. A picture of your seed phrase, a fraudulent website, a phishing message these are all possibilities.

Above all, remember this rule: "Not your keys, not your bitcoins."

Bitcoin is one of the most secure technologies ever created, provided you take responsibility for your own security.

See you tomorrow for the next challenge.

#AprilChallenge #KeepLearningBitcoin #KeepSharing #KeepGrowing

Day 19: What is a Bitcoin wallet? Give some examples.

A Bitcoin wallet is software or an application that allows you to receive, send, and store the private key that grants access to your bitcoins.

It generally includes a public key, which allows you to receive bitcoins, and a private key, which grants access to the bitcoins and signs transactions. There are several Bitcoin wallets available. Some examples include @cakewallet, @mannabitcoin, @Blink, @walletofsatoshi, @Trezor, and many others.

In the coming days, we will look at the different types of wallets that exist.
"Not your keys, not your bitcoins." Remember this golden rule.

That's all for today.

Day 18: Why Was Bitcoin Designed to Have a Limited Supply?

Hi everyone. I hope you're all doing well. Today, I'm going to answer the question of why Bitcoin has a limited supply.

For a currency to fulfill its role properly, it must meet several essential criteria: it must be exchangeable, divisible, verifiable, portable... and scarce. It's this last criterion that fiat currencies like the dollar, the euro, the CFA franc, and others have gradually abandoned because central banks print banknotes at will, especially during times of crisis. The result: more banknotes in circulation, and less money is worth. This is the mechanism of inflation: your money silently loses value while the cost of living increases.

To address this dysfunction in the traditional system, Satoshi Nakamoto enshrined in Bitcoin's source code a limited supply of 21 million:
-to make the currency deflationary,
-to make monetary policy predictable,
-to protect purchasing power,
-to preserve the inherent value of what one actually owns.
Satoshi also implemented a mechanism called the Halving, whereby approximately every four years, the reward for miners who secure the network is halved, progressively slowing the creation of new bitcoins until the last one is mined around 2140. That's all for today.

See you tomorrow for the next challenge. #AprilChallenge #KeepLearningBitcoin #KeepSharing #KeepGrowing

Day 15: Can money exist without banks?
Explain.

I think money can exist without banks. In ancient civilizations, banks didn't exist, but forms of money were already in use: seashells, salt, precious metals, and gold and silver coins.

Banks appeared later to solve practical problems: securing gold, facilitating remote payments, and issuing receipts for exchanged transactions. Over time, these receipts became money, giving rise to fiat currencies.

Therefore, money can exist without banks. Bitcoin is proof of this: a solid currency that operates without banking intermediaries. Today, we can send and receive value across the globe without going through a bank, thanks to Bitcoin.

#AprilChallenge #KeepLearningBitcoin #KeepSharing #KeepGrowing #introductions

https://blossom.primal.net/8418700e208a33f244c7b97d645fe7d9cfae774c17ba07dc814dcae6e756af13

Day 9: Who Created Bitcoin and Why Is It Important?

After the subprime mortgage crisis in 2008, as the world was experiencing profound financial chaos, an individual or group of people using the pseudonym Satoshi Nakamoto published a white paper on October 31, 2008, on a cryptography mailing list, explaining how their invention, Bitcoin, worked.

On January 3, 2009, the genesis block was mined, marking the beginning of the Bitcoin network.
Satoshi Nakamoto created Bitcoin with the aim of:
-transferring the properties of cash into cyberspace,
-eliminating the need to trust banks,
-separating money creation from institutions, protecting privacy (a fundamental right), -restoring financial sovereignty to individuals, and many other reasons.

That's all for today. Day 8: What are BitKwa's core values?

Hello everyone. I hope you're all doing well. Day 7: Why is Decentralization Important in Bitcoin?

Hi everyone, I hope you're all doing well. Today, I'm going to share my thoughts on why decentralization is important in Bitcoin.

Bitcoin was created to solve a major problem: to create an electronic payment system without a trusted intermediary, such as a bank or a government.
To achieve this, there shouldn't be a central authority making decisions for everyone. Bitcoin operates using thousands of computers distributed around the world. No one owns it, no one can shut it down, and no one can censor it.

It's also open-source software: anyone can use it, inspect it, or contribute to it, freely and without permission.
That's all for today. See you tomorrow for the next challenge.

@BitcoinBenin @BitKwa

#AprilChallenge #KeepLearningBitcoin #introductions #KeepSharing #KeepGrowing

Day 6: How Does a Bitcoin Transaction Work?

Hi everyone, I hope you're doing well. I'll explain in very simple terms how a Bitcoin transaction works.

When you send bitcoins (money) to a friend or family member, you sign this instruction with your private key to prove that the instruction comes from you. Then, this instruction is shared and broadcast on the Bitcoin network. The network's computers verify that you actually have these funds and that they haven't already been used. Once verified, the transaction is grouped with other transactions into a block. To validate this block, miners must find a random number which, combined with the block's data, produces a result that meets certain conditions; it's a matter of luck and computing power.
This validated block is then added to the blockchain. The transaction becomes irreversible.
After a few confirmations (3 to 6), your friend or family member happily receives their bitcoins 🤩.
That's all for today. See you tomorrow for the next challenge.

@BitcoinBenin @BitKwa

#AprilChallenge #KeepLearningBitcoin #KeepSharing #KeepGrowing

Day 5: What do you know about the Bitcoin halving?

Hi everyone, I hope you're all doing well. Happy holidays to the Christian community.
Today, we're going to talk about the Bitcoin halving.

What is the halving?
It's the event that halves the miners' reward every 210,000 blocks, or every four years. If you don't know, every ten minutes, a new block is created, and the miner who manages to mine that block gets the associated reward. In 2009, this reward was 50 bitcoins. As I write this, the reward is 3.125 bitcoins.
That's all for today. See you tomorrow for the next challenge.

@BitcoinBenin @BitKwa

#AprilChallenge #KeepLearningBitcoin #KeepSharing #KeepGrowing

Photo credit: Paolo the bull 🤩
