It was fine when we went in, and as we were checking out the cashier said, &#34;It&#39;s a real downpour outside!&#34; I said, &#34;really?&#34; (as in casual conversation, they have no windows) and she said, &#34;A little bit&#34; which puzzled me...but when we went out the door I saw that &#34;downpour&#34; was an understatement! We were drenched in the 15&#39; it took to get to our car! It was raining and hailing too hard to drive and the streets were flooded anyway, so we waited a little while and listened to the storm warnings on the weather radio, then started back to Bay City. Bright and sunny when we got closer to home, we stopped at another store and when we came out the sky was black again so we high-tailed it back to the house to get our purchases inside before the sky opened up again. Crazy stuff! We did have Luna with us for part of the day which is always fun...and at one point we stopped at a Farmer&#39;s Market which was mostly crafts and baked goods this early in the season, but it was quite nice. Then I made us a supper of lamb (for Pete) and chuck roast (for me) fried up with onions, and crispy cheese zucchini slices in the air fryer for both of us. Now it is sunny but the clouds are getting dark over the bay so not sure what to expect but I will be going to bed soon, it was a long long - but good! - day. All of the laundry has been rinsed and dried repeatedly as the weather gets sunny and breezy before another downpour, repeatedly. Zoey was here of course, and did her usual great job with Maisie and cleaning, and helping me with a couple of extra little things. I even managed bang out a few songs on my keyboard from my new SG hymnal. We had a fantastic dinner tonight of pollock seasoned with salt and lemon pepper, fresh green beans tossed with olive oil and buttery steakhouse seasoning roasted on top of the pollock, and my favorite: sliced zucchini dipped in vegan (Pete can&#39;t have eggs) mayo mixed with a little milk, then tossed with a mixture of keto flour, beef gelatin, arrowroot powder, and seasonings, then air fried until the coating is lumpy and browned and ever-so crispy. Excellent meal! I did get the blog updates done today, now I&#39;m not sure about tomorrow since I won&#39;t be home much but if nothing else Don&#39;s guest post will be up, he has so many followers and I don&#39;t want to be lynched! I don&#39;t know which needs to come first - ie, if my feelings are under control my daily life will follow, or the other way around - so I&#39;m doing both, as well as I can. I am progressing well enough in my therapies that yesterday was my last speech therapy and that is such a positive thing that it is a good place to start. In addition, some of my goals are being met (able to, and starting to enjoy again, gardening, cooking, playing my keyboard, and even picking up my ukuleles) and it&#39;s only been a year tomorrow since my TBI occurred. I&#39;ve had a huge setback with the loss of my precious, beautiful, and much beloved friend Annette, and taking time to grieve. What I&#39;m still in that process, and miss her more than words can say, I do take comfort in the fact that she is exactly where she has been longing to be, in the arms of the Lord she loves so much! We have had many discussions about it and I&#39;m fully aware of that, which is the most comforting thing to me as the Spirit continues to heal my heart. So still a lot of work to day BUT it is progress and I&#39;m not feeling quite as lost, sad, and helpless as the last year has been. <br/><br/>I plan to work again on my meme galleries and other blog postings that have become part of what I have done here over the last 6 years.
