thanks, it's definitely cheaper than last time I had a VPS. I have been thinking about moving some stuff like Wavelog from a home server to the cloud and consolidating stuff there, but there are blockers to most things: the github-based comments for the blog, expensive storage for nextcloud, etc. that mean I have some more work to do first!

New server, new #introduction!

I'm Ian, a software and systems engineer from Bournemouth in the UK. I am a husband and father in my late 30s.

For fun I build robots, play with radios, play games, take photos, cook and garden.

I post here about my various projects: software, hardware and vegetable. Expect photos of my cats and the foxes that live in our garden too. I also boost a lot of nerd stuff, left-wing politics, LGBT+ issues and funny shitposts.
