A failed instruction-scope gate should preserve enough evidence to explain the warning without exposing instruction contents or a machine-specific checkout root. RuleRoute 0.2.5 now writes that evidence explicitly.

--output PATH creates a new mode-0600 terminal, JSON, or Markdown report and refuses overwrite. The report is complete before --check returns status 1, so CI can retain the artifact from a correctly failed gate.

JSON represents the repository root as . instead of an absolute path. Claude external-import diagnostics record that an external source exists and that static analysis cannot observe approval, but omit its destination. Reports still retain project-relative instruction and target paths, file sizes, rule counts, import relationships, matched patterns, and diagnostics, so they remain project-sensitive.

RuleRoute stays read-only, local, zero-dependency, and content-free. Agent Tools 0.1.5 pins the release for its rules alias.

Permission-policy CI needs more than an exit code when a gate correctly fails. PermitLint 0.3.1 can now preserve the evidence that explains which Claude Code or Codex rule needs review.

--output FILE writes the complete human or JSON report before --check returns status 2. The destination is created with mode 0600 and exclusive creation, so an existing artifact is never silently replaced.

Reports use . for a scanned directory and only a filename for an explicitly passed file. Common file errors omit absolute machine paths. Reports still retain project-relative source paths, line numbers, finding metadata, remediation, and policy rule text, so they remain sensitive and are never uploaded automatically.

PermitLint stays read-only, local, zero-dependency, and does not execute policy files or hooks. Agent Tools 0.1.4 pins the new release for its permissions alias.

A plugin package can pass manifest validation and still omit a runtime component, escape through a symlink, drift from its marketplace identity, or ship mismatched releases to Codex and Claude Code. A CI gate should fail and still leave evidence explaining which package seam broke.

PluginProof 0.1.3 adds private exclusive-create terminal and JSON reports. The complete report is written before --check returns status 1, so a workflow can explicitly retain evidence from a correctly failed gate without silently overwriting a stale artifact.

Reports omit manifest contents and the absolute plugin root. They retain finding metadata, component counts, harness selection, and plugin-relative paths. Relative structure can still be sensitive, so the artifact is not automatically uploaded or published.

PluginProof never executes hooks, MCP servers, scripts, binaries, plugin commands, lifecycle hooks, or network package resolution.

An iCalendar file is a relationship graph, not just a list of dates. Recurrence overrides pair a UID with an original occurrence, zoned local times refer to exact TZID values, and folded physical lines become logical properties. Importers must interpret those seams.

ICSpect is a local read-only preflight for component nesting, required fields, DATE/UTC/zoned/floating forms, recurrence master/override relationships, and referenced versus defined timezone groups. Its fully synthetic two-event fixture reports one missing-zone group without exposing the identifier. A missing embedded VTIMEZONE is review evidence, not a prediction that import will fail; destinations may supply their own zone registry.

Reports omit absolute paths, UID, TZID, summaries, descriptions, locations, attendees, organizers, URLs, raw date-time text, and the parsed calendar graph. Private exclusive-create output is available for CI. File names, line ranges, and timing categories can still be sensitive.

No recurrence expansion, timezone execution, repair, upload, URL fetch, authenticity claim, RFC certification, or importer prediction. Test a copy in a disposable destination calendar.

A GPX track is not one continuous list of coordinates. Track-segment boundaries mark separate continuous recording spans, and timestamps turn adjacent points within each span into implied speeds. A review step that joins across segments or treats one threshold as universal can invent evidence.

GPXGlass is a local GPX 1.1 preflight for time ordering plus explicit gap, implied-speed, and elevation-step candidates. Its synthetic five-point fixture reports one 600-second gap, one roughly 400.30 km/h implied speed, and one 100-meter elevation step. None is labeled a correction or activity classification.

Reports omit raw coordinates, track names, timestamp text, and the parsed track graph. They retain ordinal/source positions and derived evidence; private exclusive-create output is available for CI. Even redacted reports can reveal timing, distance, filename, and route structure.

No map, upload, rewrite, point removal, signal filling, performance judgment, importer prediction, GPS/elevation certification, route-truth claim, or navigation-safety claim.

STL stores coordinates but does not declare a physical unit. A mesh with raw bounds 20 × 10 × 5 could be 20 × 10 × 5 mm, or 508 × 254 × 127 mm if those coordinates were inches. The bytes do not identify the intended answer.

UnitMesh is a local binary/ASCII STL preflight that compares millimeter, centimeter, inch, meter, and micron assumptions without selecting one. It also reports structural and numeric review evidence. If any vertex coordinate is non-finite, it withholds partial bounds rather than presenting incomplete dimensions.

It does not repair, scale, slice, upload, or certify topology, watertightness, tolerances, printer fit, file safety, designer intent, or printability. Confirm a known physical dimension in CAD, a drawing, or a maintained slicer before printing.

A ZIP archive can have readable metadata and still contain paths that escape, collide, or change under another platform's filename rules.

PathParcel is a local metadata preflight that does not extract. It reports traversal and absolute paths, reserved Win32 names and characters, case-insensitive collisions, collisions under documented .NET Windows replacement behavior, file/directory prefix conflicts, symlink metadata, and central/local path disagreement.

It does not inspect compressed content, malware, link targets, permissions, authenticity, decompression behavior, the destination filesystem, or a particular extractor. A clean report does not establish archive safety.

PlainCell is a local, read-only preflight that reports exact cells matching covered interpretation risks: leading-zero identifiers, 16+ digit integer-like values, E notation, compact date-like tokens, locale-sensitive numbers, and inconsistent row widths.
