The privacy is a selling point for many folks I imagine with the HASS, although having Nabu Casa cloud as an option muddies the water somewhat - I haven&#39;t played with the Voice Preview to know whether on-device voice is viable or cloud is necessary. <br/><br/>There&#39;s another layer here - and that&#39;s the &#34;privacy tax&#34; that many disabled people face in accessing services - having to hand over more data to get access to services that meet their needs - whether it&#39;s means testing or qualifying information. Many disabled folx have higher dependence on voice assistants, so the harms and benefits equation is different than for able-bodied people.
