Cheaper housing and lots of it will force landlords to either reduce rents or sell-up. The sell-off of council housing led to rents in the private sector jumping hugely.

Privatisation and underfunding is sucking the life out of our NHS. I live in Manchester and since 1980 the closures of hospitals has been enormous just within a few miles of here. Monsall Isolation Hospital (would have been perfect during Covid Pandemic). It is now housing, Booth Hall Childrens Hospital (saved my life in 1965), now housing. Crumpsall Hospital was absorbed into North Manchester General, and Delaunays Geriatric Hospital closed, Springfield Psychiatric hospital heavily downsized (Housing built on part of it). The latter two were also absorbed. Northern Hospital (Removed tonsils in 64 or 65), now replaced by houses. Jewish Victoria Hospital is now housing. Salford Royal Infirmary closed. Hope Hospital and Ladywell geriatric hospital merged, and ladywell was closed. Later changed its name to Salford Royal hospital, probably in the hope we would forget the infirmary with the same name. Ancoats Hospital closed and now housing. And the hospital I was born in, Withington, was first downgraded and now closed

All those hospital beds lost, all those doctors, nurses and other specialists lost. And they try to kid us that the NHS is doing OK. Bollocks!!!!

These documents will be drafts in the truest sense, ready to be edited and evolved. Members will be able to comment, suggest changes, and track how each document develops.

Alongside this online process, Your Party will host huge regional deliberative meetings where thousands of members come together to listen to each other, break bread and debate the founding documents face to face. From Norwich to Newcastle, we’ll foster a political culture of healthy discussion and disagreement, enabling thousands to weigh in with their ideas, questions and concerns.

In November, thousands of in-person founding conference delegates will be chosen by lottery to ensure a fair balance of gender, region, and background. These delegates will have a big responsibility – to debate the founding documents, propose amendments and vote on them at the conference. The final decision will be up to all members through an online, secure, one-member-one-vote system.

This process aims to combine the best of different democratic traditions: individual and collective views, in-person deliberation in assemblies, sortition to keep things fair and representative, and direct voting to give every member a final say.

And we want to go further. We know Your Party can - and must - be even bigger. Keep an eye on your inbox to get involved in The People Speak, a massive door knocking campaign to ask people what they want from a new party and inviting them to join in.

Timeline at a glance:

September: Membership opens, first draft documents published and regional assemblies start.
October: Assemblies continue, draft documents revised, online vote on party name.
November: Delegates selected, amendments submitted, founding conference takes place.

The problem with the LINO party is that they are still working for big business and subsidising them with taxpayer money. If it needs a subsidy, it should be entirely in public hands as they pay the taxes. Imagine if we weren't subsidising business, we could put that money into the NHS, into schools, into council housing that shouldn't be sold off until it is no longer of use, into nurseries, care homes, even a few new-towns. They could be better spent on Adult education for all ages with proper apprenticeships and training and re-training. They could be spent on proper locally owned public transport that works with other modes of transport and is integrated. They could use it for our roads and decommission motorways for heavy vehicles and drive on-drive off rail services, similar to channel trains from out of towns to reduce fuel use.

There are so many ways that taxes could be spent better, rather than fluffing up big business who then give big wedges of cash to politicians.

Brexit was more about simple racism. Lexit was more about being outside but with links inside. I have my own problems with the EU such as common fisheries policy which I believe should exclude factory ships, and a total moritorium for 5-10 years in order to allow fish numbers to rise again. I'm against Common Fisheries Policy where farmers are paid lots of money to NOT grow crops, and because of the lack of democracy caused by most decisions being made by the Council of ministers with the EU Parliament being nothing more than a talking shop. But I believe we are better in for our own protections now.

He campaigned more than anybody else for remain. He stopped being pro-leave more than 20 years ago. But being a statesman, he accept the results of the referendum. But lexit would have been a lot different than Brexit. We'd have remained in so many institutions that we've now left. I believe there will be another referendum but not until 2030/1 or about ten years after implementation.

Polling shows that amongst 18-25 year olds the new Corbyn party would score 25 points more than Reform, and also higher than "Labour". But it's not just youngsters signing up. I signed up (65) my friend signed up (60) and lots of other people over the age of 25. But I'll only be joining the full party if they make a clear declaration on supporting trans rights in their equality section instead of falling for the right-wing con trick of being anti.
