Living off the land, not working as much, cutting costs and prioritising work that didn’t offer progress or as much intellectual demand of me. <br/><br/>I felt less purpose, less drive and my family had less freedom because our number of children grew, my wife was unable to work as she cares for our 4 kids (childcare is expensive) and holidays were nonexistent anymore. <br/><br/>We did it for many years, managed to get some government support to help us along and saved what we could in BTC. Eventually we got out of this trap of underperforming and moved to Sydney, into an amazing high end suburb with great public schools, amazing opportunities and daily challenge where I can test myself against other men.
