I had this idea of nostr events containing pack and card metadata. A custom cashu mint could issue tokens for packs and cards. Packs can be redeemed for cards.

When you play against someone you are just proving ownership of something that represents the metadata on relays and the game logic does whatever with it.

Could this create a digital trading card economy? Assuming the creator of the game keeps the mints running.

Ecorn assumes applications require their own encryption. Reticulum is just encrypted network. On meshchat or columba, your inbox may show blobs of encrypted content. Similar to nostr, you sign encrypted events, but instead of public relay it goes directly to you through the mesh. A ecorn app decrypts that information for a rich social experience for groups maybe up to 50-100. Think nostr but fully encrypted, off grid capable and just for your friends and family. Instead of asking for a lightning wallet recommendation on nostr you are asking who wants to come over and watch the world cup on ecorn.

No user will ever be compensated for their data but those service providers collecting everyone elses data will. Data is infinite and replicable which doesn't play nice with scarcity based economic in the long run.

With that being said it's still the best thing so people don't login and see a bunch of illegal content. Still early but improving.

Getting back to Arrr, Ecorn and Reticulum after work today. After a much needed break and a bunch of procrastinating it's time dust it off. Last few things that's are needed:

-lora support
-halow support
-tor support
-zaps/cashu support but tbh that can come later

Ecorn(encrypted content over reticulum network) is a protocol built on reticulum. Think nostr but private by default. Instead of public relays, your lxmf reticulum inbox receives the metadata.

Their world views only work with censorship.

There is definitely a spam problem on reticulum. Ive been addressing this with a something Ive been calling Ecorn. A nostr like metadata scheme that's encrypted locally before getting transported to your lxmf inbox. Lxst calls get encrypted before transport and a application would only consider calls from your friends valid due to the encrypted state of your group being able to decrypt them.

They brought me to reticulum but never really understood why people act like Lora is the main transport method for reticulum. I think it's because most people find reticulum through other Lora protocols and are fascinated by how it works.

I'd like to explore signal strength and traffic with these types of visualizers. Basically one board for transport of Lora and halow. Delucias pie in Raritan NJ. Usually regarded as a top 3 pizza in the US. Drove 1.5 hrs to get there. Waited 30 minutes for them to open and 45 to make it. Well worth the trip.

As for my Bitcoin, Nostr, freedom tech take. All are arrows in your quiver. None of them alone will provide sovereignty. There are technologies and protocols that have yet to be designed that will fill your quiver. Riding into battle with just Bitcoin or Nostr will be certain death. Keep learning and experimenting. Played around with NIP-6 last night on Arrr. Debating how much I want to integrate #Nostr into the application. Having ecorn for off grid, privacy and small groups is great. Having the ability to reach out to a larger audience in case of a disaster is important once the internet comes back online. I don't necessarily see a huge need to use signers or "bring your own nsec" since every other nostr app would be better. Maybe a opportunity for people to secure a secondary or fall back account though.

Ecorn is a nostr like protocol on reticulum I've been working on with a few people. Sideband, Columba and other apps are great. Ecorn fills their lxmf inbox with encrypted metadata. Locally you decrypt that metadata to compile a apps. A private by default protocol that compliments nostrs public by default benefits. For your personal friends and family not really your internet friends. Some things work over lora by design but others require tor or something with the ability to transfer more data. Waiting on some halow wifi chips to test. Theoretically in a rural area you could be a mile away from home and use the protocol. Maybe a few blocks in a city.

Some of the new wifi stuff is interesting with the ability to create a 1km hub in a disaster situation with Lora stations in the area. I haven't tested how many people this works with tbh but having tor and internet transport does make useable for small-medium groups. I need more Lora devices to test further.

I created a protocol spec and here is my demo app still being built. Turns your lxmf inbox into something like a nostr relay. Signing and sending proofs to other users. Sure it does kinda kill sideband dms but I'm using signal double ratchet instead with my ecorn spec for dms. Here is a 3 person friend group. Groups managed with MLS. Engagement is either private or public. Here you'll see likes and replies getting propagated.

I'm Nutty. Been a fan of #Nostr for a few years now. Recently been intrigued by #Meshtastic and then #Reticulum.

I designed a protocol that I've been calling Ecorn (Encrypted Content Over Reticulum Network) to be a private, more personal Nostr. It's supposed to be complimentary where Nostr is the public square used for outreach and discovery. Ecorn is the private layer for close friends and family.

Ecorn could be called a meaning layer. In a eli5 way, ecorn turns your lxmf reticulum inbox into private relay. All lxmf encrypted packets contain encrypted metadata. Arrr is my pilot app which takes these signed schema in you inbox and turns it into a rich social app.

You post content to your groups. Which are MLS groups. Meaning your followers are added to "group chat" where you are exchanging signed schema to lxmf inboxes. Creators can set public engagement shared with the MLS group or private where only the creator sees likes and replies.

Ecorn provides a ecorn123abc style address. Reticulum can get tricky with lxst, lxmf, id etc. Ecorn addresses are 24 words that incorporate everything.

Below is a short demo on a pretty early/rough Arrr app. Lots of junk but the left account has the middle and right accounts added to their friends group with public engagement. They post a note and others like and reply. MLS gets updated and engagement sent out to others.

Tested some rnodes for Lora and things seem to work fine. Ble testing needs some work still. I'm hoping for a ecorn spec release this month and Arrr shortly after.
