thanks to db Slava Ukraini (npub146r…mjkc) and keef (npub1akg…8c0s) 's feedback, I made a couple changes:
1) extended the English dict by a lot (now includes "mithridatises", as you were certainly about to request)
and, most importantly,
2) added a "Daily" mode, which is a shorter Challenge with identical starting seed for everybody, and made it the default.

Let's see if this works =)

It's clear to me that Wordrush doesn't have enough "retention" - of the hundreds or so of people who tried it, very few if any play it again.
I don't want to go full marketing on this but I'd like to know if there's something I can/should do to improve on that so, here we go:

As you all know, I'm really not great at self-promotion and I'd rather do literally anything else.
BUT, after leaving itch.io frontpage, my little game basically stopped receiving views, which I guess means I should do something.

Yesterday my wife and children were accosted by a shady-looking guy, while sitting at Berlin Central Station McDonald's.
In less than a minute, four Polizei were there, asking the wife if everything was fine and ready to act if it wasn't.

not exactly: I'm more thinking about how the whole LLM fanfare is _forced_ onto the public, and nobody who consumes something produced by LLMs prefers it to the alternative.
And yet, it doesn't seem like this is covered all that frequently in media (at least not in my bubble), while it's always framed as "we're doing this for the customer" - which is patently false, as far as I can tell.

I realized that I'm perfectly fine with (and often appreciative of) other people's self-promotion - I even make purchases, when the time is right.

So, I guess my revulsion towards *my own* self-promotion isn't, like, a healthy thing but, rather, just another example of my general maladjustment.
