A few friends have first hand accounts of that experience so it’s very true. For me it seems to be all wheat that I can get here, organic or not. Turned out it was wheat (or whatever passes for that in the US) causing a massive amount of inflammation in my body. Once I figured this out and got it under control is when my sleep patterns really locked into the 6 hour routine. I’d be curious to understand how it might be linked. I’m suspicious this is a new script fad and find it pretty sad how quickly people are to reach for a poisonous band-aid in pill form. <br/><br/>I was diagnosed with ADHD as a teenager and was on Ritalin for a couple years so I’m no stranger to this condition or these drugs. I ditched it and worked hard at learning how to navigate and manage living with severe ADHD among other conditions I’m stuck with. It can be challenging sometimes but I find it to be a super power when you learn how to focus it and can successfully. The intense hyper focus of a skilled and tuned ADHD mind is a powerful one. I have a feeling many of my fellow bitcoiners fall in a similar category.<br/><br/>Why someone would want to change and mute their brain chemistry instead of learning how to master it is beyond my capability to categorize into anything but pure laziness and apathy for their own life and mind. <br/><br/>20 years ago in my area the local doctors over prescribed Oxycodone so extremely that it created a raging heroin problem that still has its grips today. I lost many friends to it from OD or just fading into horrible addiction. I’ll never forgive the doctors in my small town that did this. I know who they are and they know what they did. <br/><br/>I have a bad feeling that the pharma reps are pushing Adderall prescriptions for some reason. Or, my thought is doctors and patients love their fad meds just like all those dieters love their shitty fad diets that do nothing. Except these drugs really fuck you up over time. It’s not a question of “if” you get the side effects, it’s a question of what side effects will you get, when, and how severely? They all come with side effects.<br/><br/>Big pharma is one of the most difficult two sided coins I can think of that we’re forced to live with currently. I have witnessed their drugs save loved ones lives time and time again and solve debilitating health issues and have even saved my life a number of times in various ways. But on the flip side they completely ruin and destroying the same amount or possibly even more than they save.<br/><br/>I’m never one to root for any politician but here’s hoping RFK Jr. gets in this week and starts rattling some cages and does what he promises he can do. I don’t trust any of them but the small chance he can possibly move the needle gives me hope for a better future for health and awareness in this country. If not now, maybe in years ahead even. <br/><br/>The healthcare system in this country almost killed me in my 20’s. In the end I did the opposite of everything I was advised and now a little over 10 years later I’m healthier than I’ve ever been.
