Just finished reading The Count of Monte Cristo, and I have to ask, was Dumas being paid by the word? The first act of this story is a real banger! Totally solid. Then Dumas redefined for me the true meaning of "second act problems." In fact, I'll call what I read here: "second AND third act problems." This book was a lot of fun, while also being infuriating with bits like:

I guess it’s all a matter of what one wants out of their social media. Most of social media, as I see it, is people trying to cultivate the attention of others, but with little to offer those others. It really depends on the cooling system. Yours may just have heat sinks. But if there is liquid cooling, it will run through radiators that have fans. And those radiator grills can get a lot of dust buildup.

Thank you for all you wrote here. Not only is the math wrong, the pontificating and shaming approach to voter outreach should be embarrassing. Small “d” democrats never seem to learn that.

This social-media preaching to the converted approach to “voter outreach” seems more about garnering likes and reposts than about actually motivating people to vote for their favorite candidate.
