Not a question. And if it threatens your relationships, then you either need to see it was never healthy in the first place &amp; its time to get clear on your needs and KNOW that they are important. <br/><br/><br/>Some ways I place boundaries : <br/><br/>1. I don’t pickup the phone right away when someone calls / texts me. I check in with myself - am I available for this right now ? (Mentally, emotionally and physically) my energy is mainly for my daughter and partner - anything else is secondary. <br/><br/>2. If something is costing me my peace, then it’s too expensive. I am honest and clear “I dont have bandwidth for this right now - thanks for understanding” it doesn’t leave space for questions or openness. “This is what I need and there’s no debate”<br/><br/><br/>3. I schedule time for calls and catch ups with friends and family instead of just having it on a whim.
