Bitcoin’s money system is just pure math. The total amount will never go past 21 million coins because the reward for mining new blocks cuts in half every 210,000 blocks, or about every four years. Since you already know this schedule and the current block number, you can figure out the exact supply for any future date down to the very last decimal. There is no board of directors voting on it, no economic models trying to tweak it, and no emergencies that can stop it. It just keeps running automatically, block by block, exactly like it has since January 2009.

I mixed the glazes, placed the tile in the kiln, and let 1200°C decide.
What came out looks like a sea, a forest, a volcano — the landscape of El Salvador. The first country to make Bitcoin legal tender. Turquoise Pacific, green jungle, red volcanic earth.
Maybe that's not a coincidence.
This tile is not alone. It's one block in a chain of hundreds — each one unique, each one fired separately, all connected into one large installation. Just like the blockchain. No single tile tells the whole story. But together they form something that cannot be undone.
One tile. One block. Fired to last forever.

I keep this mosaic where I can see it every day.
Not because it's pretty — though it is — but because it reminds me why I think Bitcoin is beautiful. This is a close-up of it, zoomed in tile by tile. Marble veins, lava red, a green forest line, a blue mountain ridge — every tile fired differently, fired to last forever. Every result a surprise. Nothing copied, nothing forced.
Millions of small, independent things creating one strong whole. That's the mosaic. That's also the network I believe in.

🧱 Proof of Work meets glaze & amethyst.

I created HardFired to contribute to the Bitcoin culture through physical art. To me, capturing the spirit of Bitcoin means pouring real time, energy, and heat into something tangible.

I’m not here to build a shop, and I have nothing to sell. My goal is simply to fuse decentralized ideas into solid ceramic tiles, highlighting the transformation with the purple glow of amethyst.
