It&#39;s very hot in summers and humid all year around. There are a ton of trees pretty much everywhere and things grow well here overall. Lots of insects - or there used to be. Once you get out of the city it&#39;s very wild. And there are a lot of parks and park like areas not far away. It&#39;s just become so popular (thanks Insta) that it&#39;s nearly impossible to find a reasonably priced place to go in summer unless you have friend or can camp. Even the camping areas and some beaches are ridiculously overpopulated in summer. There&#39;s a lot of skiing and other sports in winter as well so places can get packed then too.
