I would like to escape from systemd. Two options considered were Artix and Void, but Artix is on Twitter and Void is heavily reliant on M$ GitHub. But a plus is that the latter is on Mastodon as well.

Are there more progressive options? I'd prefer rolling release, fairly bleeding edge and ideally precompiled packages are available. Main socials are in the fediverse and hosting is e.g. forgejo/gitea/codeberg. A policy against LLMs would be great, too.

#linux

The removal of slopsmith from GitHub based on a nonsensical takedown request from Ubisoft is, among other things, another wakeup call for the open source community to leave and never use M$ GitHub.

Use e.g. Forgejo, Codeberg, Gitea, GOGS, Source Hut or something else instead, please, and GitHub can turn into the graveyard that it should've become long ago.

#opensource #gaming #forgejo #github #git #codeberg

You can only be suspended if you've registered on an instance who have policies that they deem you don't follow. Suspension is instance specific, not global.

Looking forward to hearing about the new non-Google phones you're going to support, though, because besides that massive (to me) limitation I'd be curious to try out Graphene. It could very well be my favourite phone OS, maybe alongside a regular Linux phone that isn't Android.
