Well, the Steam OS has Linux at its core, and Valve has been actively improving Linux support for third-party games. It feels like they've claimed this as their little niche of the woods. Ironically, Microsoft can't touch that. If anything, Valve, as you suggest, is going after the segment that's unhappy with Microsoft as well.

But the Linux side of this raises a question: does Valve see the Machine specs being adequate for Linux users but not for other OS users?

Sony doesn't let go of its studios; and it sells exclusives that people trust and stick by. It will take ages to reinvent the Xbox into a lucrative venture.

- If you use AI search, are you certain the results are what you asked for and not what the company wants you to see? I left Google search behind years ago because the results catered more to marketing than a user query.

- If you use AI search, are you giving up the right to self-determination by suspending your mental capacity to spot the results that are meant to sway you in a different direction than you intend?

- If you ask anyone - anyone - if they are in control, the answer is always yes. But are they in control of the AI search?

I still ask myself why Iranian threat actors would target Ubuntu? Linux is popular in the ME because it's easier to use on Android, which is also popular for numerous reasons. Does an AI model verify the bugs it finds or does it just dump them on the humans to verify?

Does the AI model patch these vulnerabilities or is that up to the humans?

If the AI model only hunts for vulnerabilities, obscure and otherwise, without verifying and fixing them, then how much time is saved, compared to a similar hunt by a smarter, more experienced and intuitive human?
