Now, I hope, you've heard of those ancient Roman graffiti on walls. This was shitty art. The only reason we are interested in it today, is due to historical reasons & that it's amazing those graffiti survived for so long.

Another case are poems during the 17th century. Of course, we know all the best quality stuff from famous poets, but in reality there were hundreds of poems written by some plebs who barely knew how to write.

For example, famous poets wrote in very beautiful ways about love, live & drama in general. It's overall very sophisticated & thought out.

At the same time, plebs were literally writing porn poems, describing sexual acts in pretty clear detail, for that time back then.

So, low quality stuff always existed.

It's just that nowadays, you actually see all that crap. But the "great" art still remains, it's just harder to see in those oceans of crap.

First of all, the 10 commandments are ridiculously stupid & incomplete & instead filled with useless crap, which is why my comment was a bit of a joke & sarcasm, which also had some truth in it, though.

For example, the first four commandments are pretty much entirely superfluous & don't have anything to do with morality, but with the selfishness of a figure that is imagined by millions of people around the world.

I'm pretty sure it's the one, I had watched. I don't want to watch it again, though. Still am shocked by it after such a long time.

If it is that video, it shows the entire scene & the video stops exactly at the moment, before they start shooting. So, you may see his last moments on YouTube, right before collapsing from fatal gun wounds.

The back story is basically, that some moron wannabe lawful idiot reported him to the police about a "rifle" he had, but in fact it was just a gun for playing around. He showed it to everyone & everyone was enjoying this fun toy. The moron wasn't at the party & literally assumed, that everyone on the party must be somehow part of the conspiracy, where everyone just blindly accepts a guy with an actual rifle. This is what the guy calling the police must've thought, else he wouldn't have called it.

Or he did not think at all. Most US Americans call the police whenever they don't understand something. They always presume the worst.

For example, there is another guy who literally walked on a car parking area, without going into a car, so the police was called on him, because it was "unusual". Things like these are the most US American shit there is. #FuckUSA

So, the killers arrive & put the victim into this stressful situation, as seen in the video. They were basically doing some Guantanamo styled power play, right there. I haven't used it much yet, but this app showed me after the initial installation, that there is such a thing as "work profile" on #Android.

Since I discovered #Container tabs on #FireFox, I constantly use them, every day for everything. I would like to do the same with such an app, but the biggest turn off, when I realised how this work profile thing works, is that it has apparently only offers two profiles, with no way of expansion. Default & Work profile.

This does not make much sense to me. It's better, than having all in one, but to me personally, having a second profile only adds like 10% value.

I want this to be like in #FireFox, where I can just create a variable amount of containers for whichever purpose I want. For once, highly specified & therefore especially isolated ones, like for example a container only for Google services.

I have seen so many people arguing on #Nostr like "just mute him, bro" & this does not make sense to me, because you can only mute so much.

For example, if I visit the Global #Nostr feed (I sure as hell don't do that anymore...), I would need to spend an hour just muting the most recent "couple of" Spammers, just to be able to see something worth a damn for a minute.

The worst experience I had, the last time I visited Global & didn't do it again afterward, was when there was some scammer creating tons of npubs, each writing a similar message about needing #Bitcoin for #FOSS development, when in fact it was obviously just a #scam, because each npub was a nobody begging for money for a non-existing product.

So, just because of this single scammer, I would've needed to spend HOURS blocking each npub, if I do it manually & individually, like the average user would do.

It would be amazing if there were some pre-stats on your profile like a trust score etc. but not all your personal data.

Okay, let me give you an example of only actual humans, based on my real experience on #Nostr.

After I joined, I followed various accounts, mostly lead by humans. For the sake of this explanation, I don't count in any non-humans.

I followed an art related npub, which is lead by a human.

This npub shared tons of posts *every single day*, while other humans shared something maybe once in two days or sometimes less.

Even the humans who posted once or twice a day, were completely suffocated by the amount of content from this one artsy npub.

From this experience one of the first npubs I unfollowed was a human, who posted nice arts but it was way too much & often for me & my feed ecology.

Wouldn't this use case perhaps apply to a scenario in your feed?
Or are you already weeding out such potential problems by not following them in the first place?

In this example, I would've loved to have the option to mute all posts of the artsy channel & instead get a summary of the most liked posts of the week, or whatever criteria.

The same way I never understood how people just "follow" everyone the same way, when clearly not all followed deliver content of exactly the same quality for you.

I have this issue on #GitHub & now on #Nostr, as well.

Like, everyone follows each account for different reasons.

Would you put RSS bots in the same category as literal humans traveling around the world? I think, not.

So, I basically experience a feed with lots of crap, because everything is in the same pool of "followed" npubs.

I want to follow all, but I'm not interested the same way & same degrees in all the content each npub publishes.

Therefore, especially the Super Follow & Follow thing makes absolute sense to me.

Like, I already had to unfollow so many people on #Nostr, simply because they crap up my feed with too many posts. I want to follow them, but I simply cannot, due to the lack of such a filtering & categorisation mechanic.
