Here in the Midwest plains we had like 60% invasive plants and only 40% indigenous to the land. After we began purging the invasive species from fields we were able to see over the course of a few years how much indigenous biodiversity was brought back. Finding equilibrium is hard but definitely worth it. The “lawns” in Albuquerque for me were a huge example of biodiversity. So cool and unique.
